🎤🎸 What an incredible way to end the year with our Rocksteady End of Year Concert last week! 🌟
Our talented musicians took to the stage with confidence, performing to the whole school and showcasing the fantastic progress they have made this year. From energetic drummers and confident vocalists to skilled keyboard, guitar and bass players, every performance was full of enthusiasm, teamwork and determination.
It was wonderful to see our pupils supporting one another, celebrating each band’s achievements and growing in confidence through the power of music. 📚✨ We were delighted to welcome children’s author David Fuller to All Saints’ for an inspiring day of storytelling and creativity last week!
David shared how great stories are brought to life through careful planning, exciting plot twists and cliffhanger endings that leave readers desperate to discover what happens next.
Our pupils loved taking part in creative writing activities, where they met Madame Zola, explored the adventures of Chloe Reed as she joined a new team, and imagined the thrilling world of a superhero-obsessed boy living in Galactic Towers, solving codes and mysteries to earn his very own superpowers.
The children asked thoughtful and imaginative questions throughout the session and were engaged from beginning to end. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading and writing grow as David shared his passion for storytelling.
A huge thank you to David Fuller for such an inspiring visit. We can’t wait to see where our pupils’ imaginations take them next! ✍️🌟

🏺✨ This half term, Year 3 stepped back in time to Ancient Egypt as they became designers and engineers in DT!
The children designed and built their own Egyptian-inspired chariots, creating unique logos before carefully constructing their models from scratch.
To put their creations to the test, the chariots were designed to transport Mrs Filsell and Miss Clarke to and from Haydons Road in true ancient Egyptian style! 🚜
What a fantastic project that showcased creativity, design and technology skills, problem-solving and teamwork. We are so proud of all your hard work—well done, Year 3! 👏✨

🐻🌿 We’re going on a bear hunt… and what a week we’ve had in Nursery! 🌿🐻
This week, our learning was inspired by one of our favourite stories, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. The children immersed themselves in the tale, retelling the story with props and musical instruments before proudly performing it for their parents. 🎶📚✨
Our busy little learners also created fabulous bear masks 🎨🐻, used bears to support their mathematical thinking 🔢, and put their engineering skills to the test by designing and building bridges for the bears to safely cross the river. 🌉💡
A wonderful week of storytelling, creativity, problem-solving and fun, all while developing key skills through play and exploration.

🛕✨ Year 5 had a fascinating visit to a Buddhist temple as part of their RE learning, bringing their classroom studies to life through first-hand experience.
At All Saints’, we believe that learning about different faiths and cultures helps our children grow into compassionate, respectful and open-minded global citizens. Our wonderfully diverse community is one of our greatest strengths, and experiences like these encourage curiosity, understanding and appreciation of the beliefs and traditions that make us all unique.
Rooted in our Christian values of ❤️ Love, 🤝 Koinonia and 💙 Compassion, and inspired by our commitment as a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, we empower children to celebrate difference, respect the rights of others and build a more inclusive world.
A wonderful day of learning, reflection and discovery! 🌍✨

🌿🌼 Another fantastic week in the Haydon’s Road garden! 🌼🌿
A huge shoutout to our amazing Tracey and her team of dedicated gardeners, whose green fingers are working their magic once again! 💚
Meet Polly McMuffin, our fabulous new scarecrow, who’s proudly keeping watch over the garden! 🤠🌾 They may also have borrowed Mrs Filsell’s hedgehogs… we think they’ve found the perfect new home! 😉🦔
The water feature is now up and running 💦, the tomato plant fence is thriving 🍅, and the wildflowers are coming along beautifully, creating a wonderful space for our children to enjoy, explore and learn from.
Thank you to everyone helping to make our school garden such a special place. We can’t wait to see what grows next! 🌻🌱
