It was truly a dream come true!

I’m incredibly happy that my first concert of the year was A Sea Symphony by Ralph Vaughan Williams!
This symphony is a breathtaking musical journey inspired by the vastness and power of the sea. It’s based on texts from Walt Whitman’s “Leaves of Grass”, celebrating themes of exploration, humanity’s connection to nature, and the boundless spirit of adventure.

I’m so glad I took part in it—though with that blue light on me, I look in every photo like aliens came to take me (…please not yet, I have a lot of beautiful concerts to do with the London Symphony Chorus and London Symphony Orchestra )!

This turned out to be incredibly beneficial for my piano exams, as singing made me much more aware of musical phrasing. I quickly learned how to shape phrases naturally, without needing extra guidance from my teacher. This experience showed me how important it is to develop multiple musical skills at the same time.

Once again, I had the incredible pleasure of appearing on stage alongside the wonderful musicians of the London Symphony Orchestra! This time, under the guidance of the outstanding Antonio Pappano, we had the opportunity to perform the moving "War Requiem" by Benjamin Britten as part of the BBC Proms 2024 festival.
Pappano's incredible interpretation made it hard for me to hold back tears, especially when the boys' choir entered the hall in such a way that they sounded like ghosts. In these difficult times in which we live, the piece has once again taken on additional meaning and should be seen as the voice of the thousands of people who senselessly lose their lives in terrible wars every day.

The concert will be broadcast today at 8:00 PM on BBC Four - maybe you will be able to spot me (I'm a small dot in the fourth row, fifth counting from the middle - where the organ is 👌🏻).

It's amazing that only month ago we have finished the artistic season with the irreplaceable London Symphony Orchestra and a fantastic performance of "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff. The emotions haven't settled yet and we already have another project ahead of us - "War Requiem" by Britten, which you will have the chance to hear at one of the biggest music festivals - BBC Proms on August 17th at the Royal Albert Hall! 🎶🎻

I'm happy to announce that in the next few days, I'll have the great pleasure of singing under the world-renowned conductor Michael Tilson Thomas! Despite his challenging illness (brain tumor), his conducting is incredibly moving, bringing audiences to tears and serving as a tangible reminder that the true beauty of music emanates from the soul and heart - not from the head.
Tomorrow at 7 pm at the Barbican Centre, we'll be performing Mahler’s 3rd Symphony. There'll be a repeat performance next Thursday at 7 pm 🙂

I'm thrilled to announce that I recently became a Alto of the London Symphony Chorus - the most prestigious choir in London! I couldn't be more excited and grateful for this opportunity, as the chorus closely collaborates with the London Symphony Orchestra, which is ranked as the second (and, in my opinion, the best) symphony orchestra in the world!
