Happy Friday all! I've got a few slots becoming available in my virtual singing studio for ad hoc sessions to brush up on audition material/repertoire/performance pieces/extra practise for your choir harmonies etc etc. Very affordable rates and all you need is Zoom and some headphones...drop me a message on here if you're interested!

Another year is here, and I'm a little late in saying happy 2023 to all my singers and their families - it's such a pleasure to still be working with singers of all ages on such a variety of genres. It's also so nice to be moving towards Spring and hearing the birds singing again - I really strive to bring out the beauty of people's natural voices, and try to create a space where they can do that without fear or judgement. Hope you too can sing like the birds this year!

Happy New Year to all my singers and their families - I can’t quite believe where this year has gone but I’m definitely embracing a new one!
Lessons will kick off again this week for the Spring Term - do look out for an email from me with full info. So looking forward to seeing you for online lessons and some face to face ones too!

Anyone else feel this year has absolutely ran away?! A real pleasure working with everyone through the summer term on technique, repertoire, exam material and auditions as well as welcoming lovely new singers and piano players too! Can’t believe the Autumn term is nearly here. And with that comes a really tough goodbye to this excellent guy. Jay is off to train at Emil Dale Academy and what an asset he will be to them! I have worked with Jay (alongside his other fabulous PA training) since he was a young smiley child and now he is a kind, talented and hard working young man. Those years have flown and you have made every lesson a joy. Wishing you all the very best Jay, so proud of your achievements, you will be so missed!

Due to some rescheduling as some students return to school I have a couple of free slots from next term (starting April) for ONLINE singing lessons, or beginner piano and singing combined. All ages and abilities welcome - lessons focus on vocal technique, repertoire and musicianship but can be tailored to your needs and interests. A long overdue post from TK Singing! Life has been a little topsy turvy over the last few months, including a big house move to beautiful rural Mid-Wales - but I'm so incredibly grateful for the support of all my singers and their families who are continuing with me online! It has been a real inspiration to see such progress and joy despite working in such a different way since last March (can you believe it's been that long!) It felt devastating when the pandemic affected our industry so terribly but technology has really saved the day and everything feels a little more hopeful.
The door is always open for anyone who is interested in online singing/music lessons 🎵🎶

Goodbye from me for now from my little at home online teaching set-up!
It’s been a rollercoaster ride working out how singing lessons can work through the internet but there’s been much laughter and beautiful singing along the way. Thank you to all who have been able to continue singing with me in this way, and all the very best of wishes to those that I will hopefully see again very soon!
I will send an update late August when the science and guidance around face-to-face singing is much clearer (and hopefully much more positive!)

Been trying out a couple of tentative online lessons from my living room, it’s of course not the same as seeing your lovely faces in person but it’s still pretty good. Will keep working on the technology/equipment I have, to make this a better set up and even more possible and do just get in touch if you want to try one (there is obviously no pressure! One day I’ll see you in person again 😊) Just sending you all my best wishes, smiles and songs 🎵
