Message to parents, carers and children who use Wilton Children’s Centre.

As you know Spurgeons will be taking over providing Children’s Centre Services to Wilton and the surrounding area as from July 1st. We are very excited at the prospect of working with you, providing the services that you need in this community.

However in the light of the new contract Spurgeons will be delivering for Wiltshire Council we need to move to the use of community buildings in Wilton and throughout the surrounding area rather than retaining the current building..

So as from July 1st Wilton Children’s Centre groups will be delivered from the Community Centre on a Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon each week. In the future we will be taking more services to other buildings in Wilton and the surrounding villages

The Health Clinic will be on a Tuesday afternoon from1-30 to 2-45pm. On Wednesdays the breast feeding peer support group and the Little Learners group will take place. We will be giving you more details over the next few weeks, but until then apart from venue, groups and other services will run as usual. The staff that you know will still be the people that are delivering the groups and other services.

We are really looking forward to getting to know you in the weeks ahead.

The Health Visiting Team will be in the Centre today from 10.30 - 12.00 if you want your little one weighed or have a question for them.

We will be at Chalke Valley Pre-School ( Broadchalke ) today from 1.30-2.30 and we have some Under the Sea themed activities for Book Start Week so come along and join us!!

Come and join us next week for Bookstart and Child Safety Week! :) on Monday 6th June we will have lots of "Under the Sea" themed activities during Little Notes, Bumps and Babies on Tues 7th and Mini Movers on Thursday 9th June all groups from 10 -11.30.
We will also have lots of FREE Child Safety packs to give away too!
One of our main focuses will be Mobile phone distraction in relation to child safety.

The Centre will be shut today from 1pm sorry for any inconvenience caused, we will be open as normal tomorrow for Military families group.

Mini Movers will be on tomorrow from 10-11.30 we will be playing football and sensory play with shredded paper!

Military Families group is on in the Centre tomorrow morning from 10 - 11.30 so come along and join other Military families in the area for a cuppa and a chat.

Sharon will be out and about tomorrow at south hills nursery, Burcombe from 1.30 until 2.45. We will be doing some craft and having story time. All families welcome.

Baby clinic with the health visitors will be in the centre tomorrow from 10.30 - 12 tomorrow.
