Thursday throwback to an incredible day of celebration ✨

Practically Family Fest made its debut on Monday and what a debut it was!

From inflatable giddiness to ice-cream-covered smiles, glitter faces to a super-competitive football match, it brought us so much joy to share the magic of Club with our families 💚

Hopefully you now not only have a little taster of all the effort, energy and imagination we pour into every Holiday Club, but also understand why your kids jump out of bed excited to come and play!

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported it, to the top skills of Oli The Choc The Final Edit Cheshire Event Group Cheshire Fest My.Sen.Den Birchwood pizza and Megs Kitchen, to the team who kept smiling even though they were melting 🥵 and to Greenbank Preparatory School and Day Nursery for hosting, it really was one to remember 🫧

Meet the may-nificent Crew making the magic happen this half term 🎪

From forest adventurers to frisbee champs, crafty creators to football fanatics, our May Dayz Crew is packed with personality (and a few party tricks 👀!). They’re the dream team behind all the jammy, muddy, memory-making fun coming to Cheadle, Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall this half term!

🐝🌿 It feels very fitting that as we celebrate , one tiny insect is becoming a very big part of our Greenbank Preparatory School and Day Nursery Wild Project…

Because this makeover isn’t just about building a brilliant outdoor space for children to play in. It’s also about helping children understand their connection to the natural world and the role we all play in looking after it 💚

As part of the transformation, the new wild area will include:
🐝 Bee-friendly flowers
🐝 A bee hotel
🐝 A brand new bee mural
🐝 even the winning plaque design by Autumn in Year 5 features two happy bees making honey 🥹

For us, the bee felt like the perfect symbol.

Not just because of the project’s focus on nature and sustainability, but because here in Manchester, the bee has always represented community, creativity and hardworking people coming together and that’s exactly what this project has been.

Children, teachers, parents and our Crew all helping to build something special together 🌿

📢 And Greenbank families! There’s still time to help us bring it to life ✨We’re continuing to collect recycled materials to reuse in the space, from pots and pallets to pipes and planting bits.

How did we get here? We blinked and the school holidays are back! 

I mean from our point of view, we’re thrilled, they’re our favourite weeks of the year 😃 but if it’s caught you off guard or childcare plans have fallen through, we still have availability for May Dayz.

I mean, it’s limited…but we do have availability, particularly in the second week 🙌

A day at Holiday Club can be a change of pace for them and a well-earned break for you, while a few days or week’s booking offers peace of mind during the juggling act that is half term.
