Pepperberry Day Nurseries

Sweet and Chilli Peppers had a fantastic morning exploring, handling and touching animals from the nativity session with the Wild Roadshow the animals included a Giant Snail, Giant Cockroach, Tarantula, Snake and a Bearded dragon.

Mia our fantastic Apprentice in Sweet Peppers was awarded Employee of the Month for Pepperberry Nursey in November for her great attitude and taking on new challenges and supporting the nursery with additional hours when needed.
As part of the award Mia was given a Love2Shop Voucher to spend.

Thank you to all the parents and staff who helped fill the boxes for the rota toy shoe box appeal, two cars were fully loaded with the boxes this morning and Pepperberry received the Rotary Community Service Award.

Pre Prep 1 had an amazing trip to the local Fire Station last week, the children all got to sit in the fire engine, look at the big hoses and ladders and the Firemen even put the lights and sirens on for everyone 🚒, back in Pre Prep we all pretended to be Firemen and ladies in our Fire Station role play area

Pamper and Prosecco Evening - taking time to relax and socialising with other mums ⭐️💚

Today our Pre Prep children had a visit from the Smiley Teeth Dental show, there was lots of fun and laughter and also had an important messages to the children about brushing your teeth and eating health food 😬

To celebrate Diwali with the children in nursery and to introduce different cultures, a parent came into nursery and created henna art on some of the staff hands, the children all loved watching.

During the day the children explored different tuff trays relating to Diwali, designed their own henna art and made diya lamps with play dough.

A group of children from Pre Prep and Tiny Peppers visit the cenotaph on Friday to lay the wreaths the children through out the nursery have made this week ⭐️

Pre Prep 1 learning through fun activities searching for letters in the slime and then naming the letter when they find it 🐸

Pre Prep 2 really enjoyed learning about space this week, with these fantastic blow up planets, later in the day they made lava lamps as part of World Science Day lots of learning with fun activities 🪐🚀

In Prep Prep last week during our extra curricular weekly session with Chef 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳Alison the children worked really hard making Parkin to take home for their families.

Tiny Peppers moved paint around under the film to explore and mix colours. 🎨

We had lots of fun today at our Halloween Party, children and staff dressed up and we enjoyed lots of different tuff trays 🎃

Today Pre Prep 2 went to the Hawthorns to sing some Harvest Songs and deliver decorations they had made and gift a lovely hamper.
The children and residents joined in with songs together with lots of smiles and laughter 🎶🎶🎶🎶
