Spring has arrived at Lindow Primary School 😊🐣🐸

Our Reception class has been delighted to watch our resident frogspawn grow into tadpoles, as well as celebrate the safe arrival of ten baby chicks, now hatching and growing stronger each day.

The children have been busy helping to care for them, reading them stories, and learning all about their life cycles. It truly is a very special time of year! ✨

We are thrilled to offer an Introduction to British Sign Language (BSL) Level 1 course right here at Lindow Community Primary School! This course is specially designed for parents and carers looking to learn BSL in a supportive, relaxed, and enjoyable environment.

Whether you're a complete beginner or just looking to boost your confidence, this course will help you master everyday signs to communicate with Deaf children, friends, and family.

Year 3 have had a wonderful day learning how to care for our sapling woodland. Thanks to everyone at The Mersey Forest and Manchester Metropolitan University for leading our workshop today and inspiring us to care for the nature in our school environment. We can't wait for the second workshop next week!

A huge thank you to Izzy from Discover Lindow - Lindow Moss who came to school yesterday to deliver 2 inspiring Science workshops to our Reception and Year 6 classes. With Reception we learnt all about the nature we have in our local area and in Year 6 shared a wealth of knowledge all about the local flora & fauna living on the bogs to support the children with their learning about classification.

Yesterday, our Year 4 pupils had a brilliant day at Manchester Museum visiting the different collections on display. The highlight for the children was visiting the 'Wild' exhibition and seeing their work on display.
