🐾📚 Meet Bertie, our wonderful school therapy dog! 🐶❤️
Sometimes, children just need a little extra comfort, a quiet moment, or a friendly face to listen — and that’s where Berty comes in! 🥰

Our children love spending precious time with Berty, whether it’s having a cuddle, sitting quietly beside him, or choosing their favourite book and reading aloud to their four-legged friend. 📖🐾

Berty also makes a very special appearance as a positive behaviour reward. Children can choose some one-to-one time with Berty as a celebration of their fantastic choices and achievements. 🌟

There’s something truly special about the calm, comfort and joy Berty brings to our school community. We are so lucky to have him! 💕🐶

A huge well done to all of our wonderful pupils who took part in our Summer 2026 Reading Challenge over the holidays! 🎉

The challenge was simple: read as many books as you could — and our pupils certainly rose to the challenge! 📖✨

Today, our young scientists explored weathering and erosion using… sugar cubes! 🪨➡️💧 We made predictions, tested our hypotheses, observed what happened, and discovered how rocks can break down and change over time.
And the best part? Our superb scientists were spot on with their hypotheses! 🔬👏

Making Year 5 place value a little more exciting! Today we’ve been cracking the code and partitioning numbers all the way up to 1,000,000 🎲✨
From building numbers with dice to becoming number detectives, the children had to use their place-value knowledge to break numbers apart and explain the value of each digit.
