Throwing it back to an unforgettable night at the Pownall Hall Summer Ball ✨

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our school community, sponsors, and helpers, we are thrilled to share that the evening raised approximately £12,000 🎉

Every single penny is going directly towards new outdoor play equipment across the school for all our pupils to enjoy 🌳

A massive thank you to everyone who attended and made the night so special. We’re already looking forward to making the next ball even more spectacular! 💛

From Nursery to Form 6, our whole school came together to build something extraordinary 🏙️

Over two days, every year group took part in a giant KAPLA club construction workshop, with each group creating a different part of the city.

Using thousands of wooden planks, the children worked together to build an amazing life-size city skyline, full of imagination, teamwork and some very impressive structures.

A huge thank you to our Head of Art & Design, Mrs Cutt, for organising such a fantastic whole-school event, and to KAPLA clubs for giving our pupils such a memorable experience. 🧱🌟

“I wish every child could have the Pownall experience.”💛

At the end of their 11+ journey, we asked our Form 6 parents to share their experience.

One word came through time and again: confidence.

Confidence built through careful preparation, individual support and, importantly, being truly known by their teachers.

Thank you to our Form 6 parents for their kind words - and to our 11+ team whose care and commitment sit behind them.

This week we welcomed and teams to Pownall for our first home fixtures of the new school year, with children from Forms 3 to 6 representing the school across boys’ football, girls’ football and netball.

There was plenty to be proud of - strong teamwork, great energy, some brilliant goals, clean sheets and a majority of wins across the week.

Most importantly, it was lovely to see the children back out there together, encouraging each other, working hard and taking pride in wearing the Pownall kit.

A brilliant start to the season. Well done to everyone who played! 💛🤎
