Thrive bespoke tutoring service in East Cheshire.
Highly experienced Teacher who has a wealth of knowledge of the primary curriculum from 3-11 years, including subjects: english and maths as well as 11+ entrance examinations
So we are now in tier 4 East Cheshire and Greater Manchester. One of my hopes is that children as well as teachers, carers and all the NHS staff and support workers are treated with the care, respect ,understanding and patience they deserve. Be kind and considerate at all times. This is once again a situation that nobody wants, needs or envisaged. We have to stand together by following government guidelines to prevent the spreading of this virus. We are role models to our children too. Take care and be careful in the upcoming weeks. If I can help at all and have available slots please contact or pm me. I know it’s a difficult time for so many families and the sheer panic of homeschooling again is worrying. Reach out if you need help or guidance!

Year 6 The Twelve Days of Christmas Maths Game | Classroom Secrets Kids This Year 6 The Twelve Days of Christmas Maths Game includes questions that involve the order of operations with a fun Christmas twist.
When you have a "regular" child, you feel reasonably assured that class participation and decent study habits will result in good grades. These kids have close friends. They get invited to participate in social things like dances and weekend gatherings. They make the teams, auditioned organizations and clubs.
But when you have a child with certain differences, this is often not the case. Learning may take longer, both academically and socially. Despite their tremendous efforts, results are often a fraction of their peers and social acceptance is fleeting, setting them up for painful comparisons and bitter frustration. Instead of a fun and fulfilling experience, school can become a breeding ground for depression and anxiety, and assignments a battle ground at home. It is exhausting for parent and child alike.
This is the week of SPED (Special Education), Autism, Dyslexia, and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) awareness. For all the children who struggle every day to succeed in a world that does not recognize their gifts and talents, and for those who are walking beside them, please let this be a gentle reminder to be kind and accepting of ALL people. Recognize that the "playing field" is not always a level surface. Children who learn differently are not weird. They are merely gifted in ways that our society does not value enough. Yet they want what everyone else wants: To be accepted.

Good Morning, it’s Monday again, the weeks seem
to be going by so quickly!! After the weekend, I thought it would be good to share with you chores that your children could be doing to help support you in your house. I know I’ve been trying to encourage this recently. Chores can also bring about responsibility, discipline and self esteem in a feeling of accomplishment and achievement.

Staying ‘ on track and being consistent ‘ is the key to success in most if not all areas of life. Tonight, I shared this picture with one of my lovely parents, to show that her son was focused and concentrating well. The parent saw the ‘ on track’ words first and messaged me with this information/ encouraging me to share the post. How lucky am I to have parents like this in the thrive community. Parent partnership is so important at .tutoring and l am fortunate to have such great and supportive parents who truly value education. We all can learn so much from each other and I never stop learning and being a learner. ‘Staying on track’ is part of what we all need to achieve in life especially with the uncertainties in the world. 💯

With some children on half term and with half term approaching for others, I thought it relevant to share this when I saw it on social media. Ask your children these? Maybe take turns to ask them to each other, encourage recording skills, pencil and paper, images or even record on your phone; great memories to look back on. I’m going to ask my lovely learners some of these this week too!!🌈🎃🌈 ❤️

Receiving a review like this is truly wonderful. I say it many times but I ❤️ love what I do and the beliefs I hold in teaching and education is to first build the relationship with the pupil before learning is achieved and this is what I work on. Then learning and progression involves. Lessons that are personal, interesting and motivating are presented to the child. I take time to know my learners interests, hobbies and what makes them who they are. I am grateful to the parents who trust me and believe in my teaching for their child
