For those who were at the Sutton Bonnington show yesterday (01/09/24).
We are pleased to announce the safe return of Chanter, our Lanner Falcon.
Our heartfelt thanks to Tony and his wife for all their help in getting him back!
Ps........he got such a telling off for scaring everyone!

A teacher gave a balloon to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The teacher then mixed all the balloons. The students were then given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon.

At that point, the teacher told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes, everyone had their own balloon.

The teacher said to the students: "These balloons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own. But if we care about other people's happiness, we'll find ours too."

We will be at Burwash Manor, Barton, Cambridgeshire on October 8th for their annual Apple Day Celebrations. Last year they raised over £5,500 for the Sick Children's Trust. This year, they are hoping to beat that target, and make this the best year yet. If you can come along and support them (and see us, of course!) we would be very pleased to see you!

after Christmas and Boxing Day is Saturday, the 27th and it's a great day to come and see some of our birds at Tewkesbury in the John Moore Museum, well, we will be in the Baptist Church from 10 in the morning, why not come along would be great to see you all. what better way to spend the holidays, Christmas day---Boxing Day---Bird day.
