A fab last day of term at Hall Hill Farm. This was a first for 2 of my little ones, and lovely to watch the excitement, awe and wonder on all their faces.

We have had such a wonderful week this week. So much outdoor time - changing outdoor times to reduce being out in the hottest part of the day, promoting shade rather than sun. Lots more hydration, and cooling activities. Lots and lots of suncream. We met a lovely new family and their special bundle of joy. We watched our caterpillars emerge into beautiful butterflies, and set them free.....all but one - 'Tiny' has taken longer to develop than the others, almost 1 week behind. Maybe another Butterfly release next week!

So....at the weekend i went to watch Toy Story 5, with no young children or grandchildren - just as a Disney fan! I knew there was a new addition of a tablet in the film, and that's all. What i did not expect was how the story unfolded. It showed how the use of various devices was having an impact on children's play, behaviour, friendships and imagination. It even touched on the subject of online bullying. I thought it gave out a great message.
