We have a unique outdoor learning environment which has a farm, an acre of woodland, allotments and pond.

✨ EXCITING NEWS! ✨

Look how far we’ve come! 🥹

From knocking down walls in July to creating our beautiful new Pashley Down Pre-School, the transformation has been incredible and we’re nearly ready to welcome our very first children! 💛💚

A huge thank you to Bishop Levett for doing such a fantastic job, and especially to Sam and Bud, who have led the project brilliantly from start to finish. You’ve been absolutely amazing!

Opening this September, our pre-school will become the newest class within our successful infant school in Old Town, Eastbourne.

We have only a few spaces remaining, and some days are already full. If you’re interested in a place, please email [email protected] for more information or to join our waiting list.

We can’t wait to show you the finished space very soon… 🐥✨

🌿 The final day of Little Adventurers! 🌿

What a way to finish an amazing two weeks! ❤️

Today our Little Adventurers made their own paint — using hammers to crush chalk before mixing it with water and cornflour. 🎨 We stretched clingfilm between the trees to create our own woodland canvases, painted the trees and made some brilliant masterpieces on black paper.

We also made our own woodland jewellery — bracelets, necklaces and even watches! 🌳 The children hollowed out elder, drilled conkers and wood cookies, then threaded their creations onto string and pipe cleaners.

Elsewhere, groups of children enjoyed pond dipping and spending time feeding and looking after our Pashley farm animals 🐓🐰 — there’s always something to explore!

And of course, some of our adventurers finished off with one last campfire and toasted marshmallows. 🔥

Such a brilliant final day and an incredible two weeks. A huge thank you to all the children who joined us — we’ve loved having you back at Pashley and making so many summer memories together! 💚

🌳 Another brilliant day at Little Adventurers Holiday Club! 🔨

Today’s woodland focus was making wooden toys – a tricky challenge with lots of woodwork, but the children did such a great job!

🥁 “Bangin’ Beaters” – using palm drills and peelers to create their own wooden beaters.

🌀 “Spinner Winners” – getting hands-on with palm drills, hammers and nails to make wooden spinners.

Back in the craft area, children made colourful rainbow pen pots using lollipop sticks and paper cups, while others made the most of all the outdoor equipment around the school.

Of course, there was also toast over the campfire for some of our adventurers! 🔥🍞

One of the loveliest things about Holiday Club has been welcoming so many ex-Pashley children back to school. ❤️ Being back somewhere familiar, with staff they already know, has been really special – and they’re absolutely loving being back!

🌱 Garden focus yesterday! 🌿

Some children enjoyed planting lettuce seeds, making beautiful leaf rubbings and using palm drills and peelers to create their own garden decorations. Some also headed into the woodland and toasted popcorn over the campfire! 🔥🍿

Elsewhere, our Little Adventurers were busy caring for and feeding the Pashley animals, getting creative with lots of arts and crafts, and enjoying plenty of time to play and explore together. 🐓🐰🎨

✨ Another magical day at Little Adventurers Holiday Club! ✨

Some of our children headed into the woodland today, making mischievous woodland boggarts from sticks and clay, mixing up all sorts of magical potions, having giant bubble fun and toasting marshmallows over the campfire! 🌿🔥🫧

Elsewhere, groups of children enjoyed spending time on the farm, helping to feed and care for our animals 🐰🐔🐹 — they’ve certainly been very well fed this week! 😂

🌳✨ Another brilliant day at Little Adventurers Holiday Club! ✨🌳

Today the children got creative making galaxy jars 🌌, layering cotton wool, glitter and paint before decorating their creations.

Our woodland challenge was all about snails 🐌! We shared some fascinating snail facts before making wooden or clay snails, using natural materials such as conkers, pine cones and dried orange slices for their shells.

The wooden snails were a tricky challenge! 💪 Children whittled with peelers, used palm drills to attach antennae and hammers to secure the shells. Lots of perseverance and some brilliant creations!

Some of our adventurers also enjoyed toasting bread over the campfire 🔥🍞, alongside plenty of time for playing and exploring.

Another busy day of creativity, new skills and outdoor fun! 🌿

📚 Summer Reading Challenge Reminder! ☀️

Don’t forget to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge at Eastbourne Library over the holidays!

It’s a brilliant way to keep children reading and enjoying books throughout the summer. Children can borrow books of their choice and collect rewards as they complete the challenge. 📖✨

🏆 Children who complete the Summer Reading Challenge will have their certificates presented in a special assembly at school later in the year!

There’s still plenty of time to get involved, so pop along to Eastbourne Library and start reading!
