Blossoms on the Common Day Nursery Pelsall

As part of our ongoing People Who Help Us week, some of our Sunflower children went on a adventure on the bus and enjoyed an exciting visit to Walsall Fire Station today! 🚒
The visit gave the children the opportunity to learn more about the important role firefighters play in keeping us safe and how they help our community every day. They loved talking to the firefighters, exploring the fire engine, and were even lucky enough to have a go at using some of the firefighting equipment! 🚒
A huge thank you to everyone at Walsall Fire Station for making us feel so welcome and giving the children such a memorable experience! 👨‍🚒👩‍🚒

To begin our ‘people who help us’ week, today our Snowdrops and Sunflowers had a very special visit from some friendly police officers! They read us a story about how the police help to keep us safe before letting us try on their hats and parts of their uniform👮👮‍♀️
The children were then excited to explore the police car, seeing the flashing lights, hearing the sirens, and learning about some of the equipment the officers use every day🚓🚨
A big thank you to our local police officers for helping us start off our People Who Help Us Week with such a fun and memorable visit! 🚔

This week we have had a fun filled week of curious activities in line with our Nature week🍃

We have finished the week by celebrating with bug tea party with our preschool friends from our sister setting ⭐️

The children enjoyed lots of themed activities including planting their own flowers, looking for bugs in the nature tray and exploring petal play dough🌿 we finished their visit with a story from our Sue and a party food lunch!

A lovely way to complete our nature week💚

Today, some of our Sunflower children enjoyed a trip to the local library! 📚🌻

The children loved exploring the shelves, listening to stories, and choosing books to look through together. Visits like these help to nurture a love of reading, spark their imaginations, and encourage curiosity as they discover new stories.

We had so much fun and can't wait for our next library adventure! 💛

What a fantastic day out for our Sunflower Children at Aldridge Bus Museum! 🚌🌻

The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring the museum, learning something new, and seeing the amazing collection up close.

A huge thank you to Dave for taking the time to show us around and share his incredible knowledge about the buses and their history. 🚌

Yesterday, we celebrated our wonderful children as they prepare to begin their exciting school journey.

We had such a fantastic day making special memories along with our leavers from Blossoms on the Lane. A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the celebration so memorable.

To all of our school leavers, we wish you the very best of luck as you begin this exciting new chapter, we will miss you 🫶🏻

Today at nursery we’ve been getting into the football spirit by wearing our favourite football kits and lots of red, white and blue to show our support for England ahead of tonight’s semi-final! 🦁
Children have had a fantastic day taking part in football-themed activities, including fun football games, exciting obstacle courses, and creative crafts.
We can’t wait to cheer England on this evening. Good luck, England! 🏆⚽

A Little Treat for Our Amazing Team! 🍦

With the temperatures soaring this week, we wanted to show our appreciation to the incredible team who continue to give their all every single day.

As a small thank you for their hard work, dedication and the love they show to our children, we surprised everyone with a visit from the ice cream van! 🍦💛

Working in the heat is never easy, but our staff continue to provide the highest level of care while keeping smiles on their faces and ensuring the children have the best possible day.

We are so grateful for each and every one of them 🫶🏼

Exploring nature in the garden! 🌻🐌🐸

We’ve had so much fun discovering snails and frogs in the garden! Our Sunflower children have been fascinated by these amazing little creatures, asking questions, observing them closely, and learning all about their habitats and how to care for nature.

Every garden adventure is a chance to spark curiosity and a love for the natural world! 💚✨

What a fantastic few days we've had celebrating Father's Day! 💙

Families joined us for pizza and play, enjoyed fun activities in the garden, and made lots of special memories together. It was wonderful to see everyone having so much fun and spending quality time with their little ones.

We rounded off the week with our football session with John on the common, where the children had a brilliant time developing their skills and enjoying the outdoors. ⚽
