Our little gardeners have been busy getting their hands in the soil and watching their plants grow! 🌿🪴

At nursery, we’re growing sunflowers, beautiful flowers, tomatoes, peppers, strawberries and a variety of herbs. 🍅🌶️🍓🌼🌻🌿

Growing our own plants is a wonderful way for children to:
🌱 Learn where food comes from
🪴 Develop patience and responsibility
🐝 Discover the importance of insects and pollinators
🌍 Understand how we can care for our environment
👃 Explore different smells, colours, textures and tastes
🍓 Build confidence by caring for something and watching it grow
🤝 Enjoy hands-on learning and teamwork outdoors

Most importantly, it gives the children the opportunity to connect with nature, get outside and have fun while learning! 💚

We’re looking forward to watching our garden continue to grow (these heatwaves really haven't helped 😂)— and hopefully enjoying some of the delicious produce along the way! 🌞🌱🍓

Its our 10 year anniversary...10 years since we opened the doors to Tip Top Day Nursery!
What better way to celebrate than a party where it all started with our Tip Top Willenhall staff team, past and present and some of our lovely families from over the past 10 years. (More photos to come soon)
We have truly appreciated all the love and support, messages, cards and gifts! A big thank you to all the team who organised today too 🥰 its been an emotional one.
It's been a whirlwind decade with so many happy memories and we are grateful every day to be able to do what we love. We have changed and developed throughout the years, expanding with two more nurseries and have had the pleasure of 100's of families allowing us to be a part of their child's early years journey.
We honestly can't thank everyone enough! We have amazing staff teams - our apprentices, cooks, cleaners, Early Years practitioners, SENDCo's, Room leaders, Deputies and Managers and we appreciate each and everyone of you for what you do, YOU ARE AMAZING, thank you!!
It has been lovely to catch up today with lots of our children who have now gone to 'big school' and some in high school. It has been an absolute privilege to have been a part of their lives. And our supportive (past and present) parents and families that create the Tip Top family, thank you, we 💖 you all.

Here's to the next 10 years 🎂

Happy mothers day to all! 👩‍🍼🥰
Yesterday we invited parents and carers in for our mothers day afternoon tea and stay and play. The children helped prepare some yummy treats for the parents beforehand🧁🍰. Whilst the parents were here, the children enjoyed different activities in the rooms, such as colouring sheets, playdough, painting and shaving foam🎨🖌. It was great to have the parents join us for some fun at nursery and the children loved having you here too to see what nursery is all about... messy fun and learning 💖✏️

Thank you to Angies Animal Antics for our visit today!
The children absolutely loved learning about the different animals. They learnt new words, and new facts about the animals. The children showed such care with the animals and were really gentle touching and stroking them. It really helped develop the children's language skills and their understanding of the world. We can't wait to build on their knowledge about animals further now 😊
