We are very proud of Class 7’s super Science Fair projects! 🔬✨

The children have worked hard to explore, investigate and present their ideas, showing fantastic curiosity, creativity and scientific thinking.

Well done, Class 7 - your projects look brilliant! 👏

Year 3 have been learning all about World Ocean Day! 🌊🐠

This week, the children explored why our oceans are so important, the damage being caused to them, and the steps we can all take to help protect marine life and our planet.

They wrote their own information pages before using Canva to turn their ideas into eye-catching infographics about protecting the ocean. The children then proudly displayed their work in their Year Group Personal Development Book.

A fantastic way to combine writing, computing, creativity and environmental awareness - well done, Year 3! 💙🌍

Children have spent weeks thinking like real scientists and right now are putting all the finishing touches on their display boards. Tomorrow the real fun begins as they present their findings to our guest of judges! 🔬🧪👩‍🔬👨🏾‍🔬

Class 1 have received our new books for our reading corner, we are very excited to read them!

As part of Science Week, we have been focusing on the theme of curiosity and asking questions. Here are some of the activities Year 3 have been doing.

As a result of the upcoming men’s FIFA World Cup, our children have been making links between the tournament, FIFA itself and football in general, and British Values of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect & tolerance.

As part of our science week, year 4 answered the question ‘How do birds make nests?’. They used natural resources to create their own birds’ nests and tested how wind proof they were.

A huge thank you to all of our children, parents, carers and staff for their amazing efforts last Friday in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

We are so grateful for everyone’s kindness, generosity and for all of the donations received so far. It was wonderful to see our school community coming together to support such an important cause.

We will share the final total raised in the coming weeks once everything has been counted.
