πŸ¦‹ We're encouraging schools across Devon to take part in Sing2Save, a fantastic FREE national initiative that combines music, environmental awareness and fundraising for wildlife conservation.πŸ¦‹

This year's song, "We Can All Do Better", was written as a special tribute to Sir David Attenborough's 100th birthday by award-winning lyricist Anthony Drewe (Mary Poppins) and composer Nick Drewe: https://youtu.be/8tjlKS947-o?si=X_RvfNyPHSQeiQAM

Suitable for KS2 and Years 7-8, the project provides everything schools need to take part during the week commencing 21 September, including:
βœ… Free song resources
βœ… Performance materials
βœ… Video recordings
βœ… Cross-curricular learning resources

This year's chosen charity is Butterfly Conservation, of which Sir David Attenborough is President. Participating pupils are invited to donate Β£1, with 100% of funds raised going directly to support Butterfly Conservation's vital work.

Already, nearly 140 schools across 29 counties have signed up. Let's make sure Devon is well represented!

🌍 Together, we can inspire young people, celebrate Sir David's legacy and help protect our precious wildlife and natural environment.

🎢 We’re incredibly grateful to Devon Music Education Hub for awarding us a grant towards the cost of our band sessions for the next academic year!

This support will help us continue giving young people the chance to make music together, build confidence, develop new skills, and be part of a creative community.

A huge thank you to Devon Music Education Hub for investing in young musicians and helping us keep these opportunities accessible! 🀘

If you’d like to help us go even further, our Crowdfunder is live! Every donation makes a difference and helps us create more opportunities for young people through music.

On the last Friday of each month Duo Tutti programme a free morning concert for kids. This month Alex and Ruth can't be there, but they've arranged some very special guests...😊

The Lucky Dip quartet are four local musicians from Exeter and the South Hams who love being a bit silly and playing our musical instruments! Music teacher Lucy plays the violin; composer and piano teacher Gabi plays the viola; retired music teacher and ecologist Sue also rocks the violin; and horse whisperer Catherine is our cellist.

Come and choose a tune for us to play from the Lucky Dip box... We have musical games to share, and you can even have a go at conducting us using a baton.
