Year 6 had a brilliant afternoon at Holme Pierrepont for their Safety Zone session, learning essential life skills from the emergency services and local authorities. From fire and water safety to staying safe in the community, there was plenty to learn, think about and enjoy!

A wonderful Year 6 Leavers' Assembly filled with celebration, reflection and heartfelt goodbyes. 💚

Congratulations to our Year 6 pupils as they begin their next adventure, our Pride of St Patrick's Award winners for KS1 and KS2, and all of the children recognised in today's awards. We also said a fond farewell to valued members of staff, thanking them for everything they have given to our St Patrick's family.

🎶🎸🤟 What a fantastic morning at St Patrick's!
Our school was filled with music, smiles and confidence as pupils from our iRock and Makaton Club performed for families and friends. The iRock bands impressed us with their brilliant musicianship and stage presence, while our Makaton Club delivered a heartwarming performance that showcased the power of communication through sign and song.
We are so proud of every child who took part. Their courage, enthusiasm and teamwork made for a truly memorable morning. ⭐ 👏💚

Today, our lucky Golden Ticket winners enjoyed an exclusive Zen Den Disco after discovering the hidden tickets in their OPAL Summer Sacks! 💛🕺💃

Filled with music, dancing, laughter and lots of smiles, it was a fantastic way to celebrate our children for embracing the spirit of OPAL play. Congratulations to all of our winners—we hope you had an amazing time! 🌟

What a fantastic few weeks it's been at St Patrick's! 🌟
🛶 Reception became young scientists, investigating which objects float and sink, discovering that light objects, like sticks, float!
🎨 Year 4 took inspiration from Andy Goldsworthy, creating beautiful environmental art using natural materials found in our playground.
🌿 Year 5 explored food chains in the Peak District, learning about producers and consumers—and even discovered more than 20 fuzzy caterpillars hiding beneath a single leaf!
🏕️ Year 6 enjoyed an unforgettable residential at The Briars, filled with laughter, friendship, challenge and memories to last a lifetime.
🏃‍♀️ Our Upper Key Stage 2 Sports Day was packed with determination, teamwork and fantastic sporting spirit, with every child giving their very best.
🎪 We also came together for our wonderful Summer Fair. A huge thank you to our PTA, volunteers, staff and families for making it such a brilliant community event.
From exciting learning experiences to sporting success and community celebrations, it's been a memorable end to the school year at St Patrick's. 💚☀️

🚀🪐 Out of this world learning! Inspired by 'Astro Girl', Reception have been exploring our solar system, recreating the planets with playdough and discovering fascinating facts about space. 🌍✨

⛪✨ Year 1 loved welcoming Marsha and Mrs. Cotter to learn about the special roles people have in church. We enjoyed asking questions, seeing Marsha's Altar Server medals and discovering how we can serve others with kindness. 🏅
