And so ends the 2025 school year with an excellent celebration assembly! These children shared wonderful work or received well-deserved certificates. On a personal note, I’d like to thank the staff, children and families for your kind messages and generous gifts. I will greatly miss this place. But first… the end of year disco this afternoon, which I’m sure will be a calm and quiet way to end the year… 😄😄😄

Father Christmas is getting about quite a lot at the moment! He took time out of his busy schedule today to visit the children at school. Thanks for giving us your time!

What a super week! We had a wonderful Christmas dinner and extravaganza with distinguished guests and a super celebration assembly to top it all off. We look forward to seeing our children next week to continue our celebrations!

Lots of great work shared during another wonderful celebration assembly! The attendance trophy this week goes to the Kestrels.

Very proud of our children who joined staff in an impeccably-observed 2 minutes' silence during today's Remembrance assembly.

This afternoon, children in the Kestrels have been creating steady hand games using their DT and science skills, whilst pupils in year 2 have been developing their touch typing skills.

Our last celebration assembly before the half term holiday was a delightful one with lots of wonderful work shared including geography, guided reading, DT and maths. Star of the Week certificates reflected kind attitudes being shown around school. A representative of the School Council shared their wonderful new suggestion boxes. We wish you a wonderful and safe half term. We look forward to welcoming our children back to school on Monday 3rd November.

These superstars received certificates or shared work from art, DT and English. Very well done to all of them! And so ends another super week at Bowness School. Wishing all of you a lovely weekend.
