Year 8 football success!

Our Year 8 boys football team travelled to Workington for their Allerdale tournament and came away with the trophy after a nervous penalty shoot out in the final against Netherhall. Twp great saves from goalkeeper Seth Burns helped pull off the victory alongside some calm penalty kicks from the outfielders! The team showed lots of character and determination throughout the tournament and can now look forward to their County cup competition starting.

🌟 What a fantastic start to NTS Sport for our Year 7 pupils! 🌟

We have been incredibly impressed with how well our Year 7s have settled into life at NTS Sport. The numbers attending extra-curricular activities have been staggering, with pupils enthusiastically getting involved in:

🏐 Netball
🏑 Hockey
💃 Dance
🤸 Gymnastics
📣 Cheerleading
⚽ Football
🏉 Rugby

Our dance, gymnastics and cheerleading pupils are already working hard towards the NTS Dance Show and a variety of competitions. Meanwhile, our team sports are preparing for fixtures, developing skills and building confidence both on and off the field.

It has been amazing to see so many pupils staying active, trying something new and embracing every opportunity available to them.

And it's not just Year 7 making a great impression. All other year group extra-curricular clubs are now up and running, and attendance across the board has been superb. Thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm and commitment to NTS Sport!
