With concerns around Tik Tok trends and other safeguarding concerns cropping up in the media again at the moment, it is timely to remind parents of the recommended age restrictions for children to be able to safely use social media.

Remember, these are there for a reason, to help to keep your children safe.

If you have a child ready to start school in September 2027, then come and have a look at what we have to offer.

We have small class sizes and an experienced and nurturing staff who work hard for the benefit of every child in our care.

Holm Cultram Abbey is a small school with a big heart. ❤

Our Year 5 and 6 children had a great time at the careers and aspiration event, hosted by Nelson Thomlinson School and arranged by the Centre for Leadership Performance

These events are so important for our children, to open their eyes to the range of possibilites available to them and to excite them for their future.

Some of the staff commented specifically on our children and how impressed they were with their attitudes and manners.

Always great to hear from people from outside of school - although we are always proud of our pupils!

Thank you to everyone involved in arranging, hosting and leading these sessions.

We are loving our playtimes at the moment. We have invested a lot of time, money and training to ensure there is plenty to keep our children busy when they are outside.

Not all of our equipmet has cost lots of money, much has been donated and we are allowing the children to use their creativity to extend their play.

I think their smiles say it all!
