World Cup activities have kicked off at Lowmoor!🏆⚽️

⚽️Willow Tree children have taken part in a mini 5 a side, using diverse people to encourage conversation about diversity, cultures and ethnicities👩🏼‍🤝‍👨🏿

⚽️Oak Tree children have been getting crafty, designing their own football shirts and footballs to decorate our foyer area👕⚽️

⚽️All children had the opportunity to sample some foods from different countries taking part in the World Cup🍴We tried omlette from Spain, sausages from Germany, tortillas and salsa from Mexico and salami from Italy😋

Under the sea in Willow and Blossom tree🐠🐳🌅🌊
🐙Willow Tree children practiced their fine motor skills by threading the hoops onto the tentacles!
🪼Blossom Tree children got crafty making their own jellyfish and explored an under the sea tuff tray!

Preschool had a roarsome Dinosaur Day last week! 🦕 We explored real fossils, made and excavated our own fossil imprints, created fossil artwork, and learned how palaeontologists uncover clues about dinosaurs. We even finished the week learning about volcanoes! 🌋

🛫 Ready for take off!

Inspired by all the exciting holidays our children have been talking about, we have transformed our role play area in Oak Tree room into a busy little airport! 🌎

The children will be checking in passengers, scanning passports, going through security and jetting off on adventures, while building confidence, communication skills and creativity along the way ✈️💙☁️
