We said good bye and good luck to our Year 6 pupils who have been a special part of our school family. The traditional ‘tie-throwing’ end of the day was attended by many parents and families members, denoting the end of their time in school with a flourish! Thanks Year 6 - you’ve been amazing.

Today some of our Y4 girls had a fantastic time taking part in a football tournament hosted by Wigan Athletic Community Trust
Throughout the day, they played lots of matches, scored some brilliant goals and showed determination and teamwork.
We are incredibly proud that their positive attitude towards each other and the other schools was recognised with the Fair Play Award!
Well done girls🏆⚽️

Our Key Stage 1 children have thoroughly enjoyed their weekly tennis sessions with Be Well!

They have developed lots of new skills, grown in confidence, and had great fun along the way.

A huge thank you to Be Well for their fantastic coaching and support!🎾

Behind the scenes photos from the Y6 Leavers shoot with Mrs Sinclair from Bobtale Photography.
Children had individual photos, with a graduation cap and then with a board. Each child wrote their name, age, favourite subject, favourite school memory and what they would like to do when they grow up which Mrs Sinclair then will superimpose on to the board. There were also group shots taken as well as photos of friendship groups. Thank you so much for coming in and volunteering your time; we can’t wait to see the photographs! 📸

Yesterday we were delighted to welcome Doreen and Jim from CAFOD to our school.

They delivered inspiring assemblies for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, helping our pupils learn more about CAFOD's important work around the world. They then spent time with our Year 5 and Year 6 children, leading engaging workshops and showing them how the money raised through the Big Lent Walk is making a real difference to communities in need.

A huge thank you to Doreen and Jim for visiting us and to all our families for their generous donations and support. We are proud to be part of helping others and seeing firsthand where our fundraising goes.

Some of our KS2 children had the opportunity to attend a Just Join In Festival at Leigh Harriers on Tuesday, where they enjoyed learning a dance routine and developing their skills in golf, cricket and rugby. It was a lovely day, and the children represented the school brilliantly! We are very proud of them.
