After Mass yesterday, Year 4 took part in a question-and-answer session with Father John as part of their RE learning, focusing on the Sacrament of the Sick. Father John shared his Sick Call Kit with the children, including the special oils used during this sacrament, giving them a valuable insight into its meaning and purpose. Thank you, Father! 🙏☘️

Yesterday, we gathered in church for our Epiphany and New Year Mass. At the conclusion of the celebration, Father John blessed the traditional Epiphany Door Cards, which will be placed on all the external doors around school, inviting Jesus to bless our learning environments in the year ahead.
Our sincere thanks to Father John for such a beautiful celebration of Mass and for his kind words praising the children’s reading, signing and enthusiasm. ⛪☘️

On the final day of the Autumn Term, we gathered in Church for our Advent Service. Well done to everyone involved, especially our readers, those who helped to light the Advent candles and our choir for leading us so beautifully in song. It was wonderful to be back in our Church for the first time since March. 🕯️☘️

Across the School, we have lit the Third Advent Candle, rose in colour, during our Celebrations of the Word. This candle, lit on Gaudete Sunday, represents joy and rejoicing. It reminds us that the Season of Advent is now over halfway through and that the celebration of Christmas is drawing near. 🕯️☘️

Our Advent Travelling Nativity is currently making its way through the homes of our families, staff and governors. If you have welcomed Mary and Joseph on their journey to Bethlehem, we would love you to share your photographs with us. 📸
On Christmas Eve, the figures of Mary and Joseph will be brought to the altar at St Patrick’s Church. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to take part - all slots are now filled, but our Travelling Nativity will return again next year. ⭐☘️
