🌟🏗️ Teamwork makes the dream work! 🌿

Our nursery children had a fantastic time using their Skill Builders to work together on a brilliant building activity in the garden! 🧱💪 Everyone joined in, shared ideas and worked as a team to create a superb structure. We’re so proud of how they supported one another, showed creativity and demonstrated great teamwork! 💚👏

3S have been busy exploring different types of rocks in science! The children enjoyed investigating their properties, looking closely at their similarities and differences and learning about the three main rock families: igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic.
The minecrafters amongst us were absolutely delighted to get their hands on some real-life obsidian!
The children also loved sharing the rocks they had brought in from home with their friends. We certainly have some budding geologists in year 3S!

🌍✨ Celebrating Black History Month in 3P✨🌍

3P joined in with Picture News’ live lesson to celebrate Black History Month. The children listened carefully to stories, discussions and thoughts around this year’s theme, “Honouring Our Communities.” 💬❤️

We discussed what it means to be part of a community, the importance of supporting one another, and how everyone can play a part in making their community a positive and inclusive place.

It was wonderful to hear the children sharing their ideas and understanding. 🌟

Year 2R have been learning all about the inspiring Billy Boston. 🏉✨

We discovered more about his incredible achievements and the impact he made in rugby. The children then got creative and designed their very own rugby shirts inspired by Billy Boston! 🎨👕

Year 2R have been exploring the theme of forgiveness in RE. ✨

We talked about what forgiveness means. The children then worked creatively to make a forgiveness collage, sharing their ideas and reflecting on the importance of saying sorry, forgiving others and making a fresh start. 💛

A wonderful opportunity for Year 2R to learn, reflect and express their understanding through art! 🎨
