In the Sunshine room this half term we have been working hard exploring our emotions using 'The colour monster ' book. We have been making our own emotions monsters, our own emotions jars, doing lots and lots of fine motor activities and playing games to help our communication. Lots of hard work across the school. Well done everyone!

In History, Y1 have been learning about changing childhoods and how play has changed over the last 50 years. The children created their own questions and enjoyed hot-seating Mrs Duddle to find out about her childhood. They discovered some similarities, such as playing with friends, as well as differences in toys, games and technology.

🦴🔥 Year 3's Stone Age Workshop Day! 🔥🦴 Y3 travelled back in time to explore the Stone Age timeline, examine fascinating artefacts and discover what life was really like back in this prehistoric time. The children loved dressing up as cave people and even had a go at spear throwing - just like real hunter-gatherers! 🏹 A fantastic day full of hands-on learning, fun and discovery ⭐✨
