It was fantastic to hear about so many exciting next steps, whether that is college, sixth form, an apprenticeship or another pathway. Whatever comes next, we know you will take the same ambition and determination with you. 🚀🌟🙌

🍦🏆 A Sweet Reward for Sycamore House!🏆🍦

After being crowned our 2026 House Cup Champions, Sycamore House enjoyed a well-deserved reward on the final day of term with a visit from Paul the Ice Cream Man! ☀️🍦

It was the perfect way to celebrate a fantastic week of House Summer Games, recognising the teamwork, determination and House spirit that helped secure the title.

Congratulations once again to everyone in Sycamore House, a brilliant way to round off an incredible first year of our new House system! 💛🦁

Our Year 7 students have continued to challenge themselves through a variety of adventurous activities, demonstrating confidence, determination and excellent teamwork throughout. It has been fantastic to see everyone encouraging one another and making memories that will last a lifetime.

From the moment they arrived, students threw themselves into a range of exciting activities, showing great enthusiasm, teamwork and resilience. It has been wonderful to see new friendships develop as they embrace every challenge together.

What a fantastic start to CansFest!

We were delighted to welcome back our Class of 2026 bands, who treated students to an incredible live performance in the sunshine. It was wonderful to see students singing, dancing and enjoying the afternoon together, creating a brilliant atmosphere across the school.

A huge thank you to our former students for returning to perform, it was fantastic to have you back at Cansfield and inspiring the next generation of musicians.

🏅☀️ Sports Day 2026!☀️🏅

What a fantastic day at Cansfield Sports Day!

Students gave their all across a range of track and field events, demonstrating determination, resilience and outstanding sportsmanship throughout the day. It was brilliant to see so many students supporting one another and proudly representing their Houses.

A huge thank you to our staff for organising another successful event, and congratulations to everyone who took part. Whether competing, cheering on teammates or helping the event run smoothly, you all played your part in making it a memorable day.

🇰🇷🌏 A Taste of Korea!🌏🇰🇷

As part of Enrichment Week, our students welcomed Yan into their MFL lessons to explore all things Korean!

Students learned about Korean culture, including traditional food, clothing and the global phenomenon of K-Pop. They also had the opportunity to learn and practise some basic Korean greetings with their classmates.

It was a fantastic experience that broadened students' understanding of the wider world and inspired a love of languages and different cultures.
