First Steps at Cansfield

Dear Parents/Carers,

With temperatures expected to be particularly high today and tomorrow, we kindly ask everyone to be mindful of the heat, and help us keep the children as cool and comfortable as possible.

Please ensure your child comes in with sun cream applied, and provides sun cream for us to reapply where appropriate, along with a sun hat. We will continue to encourage plenty of fluids, shade and appropriate activities throughout the day.

We would also ask, where possible, that children are collected as soon as your commitments allow, rather than staying at nursery/holiday club later than necessary. This will help us to reduce the children’s time in the heat, particularly during the hottest parts of the day.

Thank you for your understanding and support in helping us keep the children safe and comfortable during the hot weather. 💛☀️

First Steps at Nicol Mere Summer playscheme!

Just a reminder for everyone who will be attending our summer playscheme that starts next week. We are operating on the site of Nicol mere primary school for the summer half term this year.

All parents need to head to the blue gates that are highlighted by a blue arrow in the image below. There will be a bell on the wall next to the gate, please ring this to drop off, or when collecting your child.
