🌾🌽 **Harvest Fun in Toddlers!** 🌽🌾

This month is **Harvest Month**, so our Toddlers have been getting involved in some fun and creative activities! 🥰

We explored the textures of **rice snaps**, using them to create our very own pictures by carefully sticking them onto paper. 🎨🤲 This was a great way to develop our **fine motor skills** while exploring different textures and materials.

While we were busy creating, we also talked about **fruits and vegetables** and learned all about the different foods we might see during harvest time. 🍎🥕🌽

It was VERY hard not to eat the rice snaps! 😋😂 But our Toddlers did an amazing job of using their **listening ears** and managed to save them for our artwork!

We had lots of fun exploring, learning and getting creative together! 🌾💕🎨

🎂🎈 Birthday Playdough Fun in Tweenies! 🎈🎂

Our Tweenies had lots of fun exploring playdough as they created their very own birthday cakes! 🥳💕

The children used their imaginations to shape, squash, roll and squeeze the playdough, developing their fine motor skills as they used their little hands and fingers to manipulate the dough. 🤲✨

They carefully added sticks to create their very own pretend candles before we all came together to sing “Happy Birthday” to our friends! 🎶🎂

This encouraged the children to join in with familiar songs, listen to others and practise turn-taking during group play. 🥰

It was a wonderful activity for encouraging creativity, communication, imagination and social interaction, while having lots of birthday fun! 🎉🎂💕

🧸🤎 Teddy Bear Day – 09/09/26 🤎🧸

Our Babies had lots of fun celebrating Teddy Bear Day! 🥰

The babies enjoyed a fun sensory activity using teddy bear-shaped cereal, giving them the opportunity to explore through their senses. 👶✨

They used their little hands to feel the different textures, listened to the sounds the cereal made as they moved it around, and were curious as they scooped, sprinkled and explored. 🤲🧸

This activity provided lots of opportunities to develop their sensory awareness and fine motor skills, while encouraging curiosity and exploration. 🌟

We all had a wonderful time getting involved and discovering new textures together! 💕🧸

🎨🍝 **Creative Pasta Painting in Toddlers!** 🍝🎨

Our Toddlers have been getting creative with a fun **pasta painting activity!** 🥰

We cut up pieces of pasta and added them to the paint, giving the children a wonderful opportunity to explore **different textures, shapes and colours**. 🌈✨

The children used their hands to squish, move and explore the pasta and paint, while developing their **fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and sensory awareness**. 🤲🎨

We loved watching the children get stuck in, experimenting with the materials and creating their own unique artwork! 🖌️💕

🍦☀️ **Ice Cream Fun in Toddlers!** ☀️🍦

**A couple of weeks ago**, we were embracing the summer while we still could and decided to become **ice cream men and women for the morning!** 👩‍🍳🍦👨‍🍳

With some adult help, we worked together to make **blue playdough**, before using our fine motor skills to roll, squish and manipulate the playdough to create our very own ice creams. 🍦💙 Of course, we had to add lots of colourful sprinkles! 🌈✨

We introduced lots of new *key words*, including *roll, squish* and *cold*, while also naming and exploring lots of different colours. 🎨🗣️

The children had so much fun exploring *role play and imaginative play*, pretending to make, serve and even eat their delicious ice creams! 😋🍦

We even offered lots of ice creams to the staff in the Toddler Room — and they said they were *very yummy!* 😊💕

🧱🏗️ Building and Creating in Pre-School! 🏗️🧱

Our Pre-School children have been busy building, creating and exploring using our large wooden blocks and smaller foam blocks! 🤩

The children worked together to create their own towers, structures and imaginative designs, using their problem-solving skills, creativity and teamwork. 🧠✨

Building with different-sized blocks also encouraged the children to think about balance, size, shape and stability, while developing their coordination and fine and gross motor skills. 💪👐

We loved seeing their imaginations come to life as they worked together, shared ideas and proudly showed off their creations! ❤️🏗️

Our babies have been getting creative with paint! 🌈✨

They enjoyed exploring painting in different ways — using their hands and fingers to make marks, feel the texture of the paint and get wonderfully messy! 🖐️🎨 They also had a go at using paintbrushes, developing their fine motor skills and exploring how they could create different marks and patterns. 🖌️💫

Activities like this are a fantastic way for our little ones to explore sensory experiences, creativity, hand-eye coordination and fine motor development, all while having lots of fun! 🥰

🌟 A NEW WAY TO USE YOUR 30 FUNDED HOURS AT EARLY LEARNERS WIGAN 🌟

We’re excited to introduce a new, flexible funding option for eligible families at Early Learners Wigan!

Your 30-hour funded entitlement can now be stretched across 52 weeks of the year, providing 22½ funded hours each week. You can choose:

💛 Three 7-hour 30-minute days each week

OR

💛 Six 3-hour 45-minute sessions each week

Early Learners will also provide an additional 15 minutes each week, added to your funded sessions completely free of charge! 💚

Available times include:

🕘 Morning: 8:45am–12:30pm
🕧 Afternoon: 12:30pm–4:15pm
🕘 Full day: 8:45am–4:15pm

⏰ Choose to extend your day by adding additional time.

🍽️ Six meals can also be added for £120 per month.

Families can also choose to add extra time around their funded hours if needed.

🌟 A NEW WAY TO USE YOUR 15 FUNDED HOURS AT EARLY LEARNERS WIGAN 🌟

We’re pleased to introduce a new, flexible funding option for families at Early Learners Wigan!

Your 15-hour funded entitlement can now be stretched across 52 weeks of the year, providing 11¼ funded hours each week. You can choose:

🧡 One 7-hour 30-minute day and one 3-hour 45-minute session each week

OR

🧡 Three 3-hour 45-minute sessions each week

Early Learners will also provide an additional 15 minutes each week, added to your funded sessions completely free of charge! 💚

Available times include:

🕘 Morning: 8:45am–12:30pm
🕧 Afternoon: 12:30pm–4:15pm
🕘 Full day: 8:45am–4:15pm

⏰ Choose to extend your day by adding additional time.

🍽️ Three meals can also be added for £60 per month.
