World book day fun in pre school this week.
The children enjoyed lots of stories being read to them, reading to others and building up narratives of their own using the puppets.

They enjoyed taking part in our themed invitations of play this week giving the cat in the hat a hat which had lots of rhyming flowing, exploring our story basket Jack in the beanstalk, retelling it using the props, outdoor reading in the ☀️ . We even planted our own magic bean 🫘 to see if we can grow our very own beanstalk, Jack in the beanstalk yoga with Zoei and enjoyed our 3 little pig funky finger tray 🐷.

You all looked great guys, we loved sharing your favourite books with you too, thank you all for your efforts.

Pre school have enjoyed exploring and learning all about some of the traditions of celebrating a Chinese new year and trying some chinese food.

This week is random acts of kindness week so today pre school stepped into our gym community to share a smile, an hello, wish them a nice day and offer one of our kindness bags with a drawing, a chocolate croissant treat and little note from us.

Before we visited the gym community we had a little chat about kindness and what it meant to them, “sharing was a word that came out a lot” we talked about how kindness feels,” nice” “warm”. We talked about the kindness bags and explained what we were going to do and why it was a lovely thing to do.

We did take the opportunity to also talk about stranger awareness and safety tips when in the community and we explained about being with your safe familiar adult and who their safe adults were.

The children brought lots of happiness today to our gym community, we received lots of smiles and thank yous which was our goal and we were so very proud of how well behaved our little people were.

We also gave our lovely nursery manager Nicola one too, Enjoy Nicola 💜
