🎳🌟 Strike up the fun! 🌟🎳

Last week, some of our children had an amazing trip to the bowling alley! 💚 From carefully rolling the bowling balls down the ramp to cheering on their friends, everyone had lots of fun while building confidence and trying something new. 🌈🎉

We are so proud of all the children for their fantastic behaviour and wonderful listening skills. You were all superstars! ⭐👏

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at the bowling centre for making us feel so welcome and thank you to our staff for organising such a fun and memorable experience. 💕🎳

Trips like these support our EYFS learning by encouraging:

🎳 Physical Development – developing gross motor skills, coordination, balance, and control while rolling and aiming the bowling balls.

🌍 Understanding the World – exploring the local community, experiencing new environments, following routines outside the setting, and learning about different places and activities.

🌿🐐 A Very Special Preschool Graduation Celebration! 🦙🐰

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of our preschool year! This morning, we were delighted to welcome the amazing team from Emily's Mini Farm for a mobile farm experience that brought so much joy, excitement and learning to our children. Emily's Mini Farm

Our preschoolers had the opportunity to meet and interact with a fantastic variety of animals, including alpacas, goats, tortoises, hamsters, chickens, guinea pigs and rabbits. From gently stroking the alpacas’ incredibly soft coats to learning how to handle smaller animals with care and kindness, the children were fully engaged throughout the session.

The visit provided so many valuable learning opportunities. The children learnt about different animal species, their habitats, diets and how to care for them responsibly. They practised being calm, gentle and respectful around animals, helping to build confidence, empathy and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.

Most importantly, it was a lovely way to mark the end of a fantastic preschool year together. Seeing the smiles, curiosity and excitement on the children’s faces made for some truly special memories that we know they will cherish for years to come.

A huge thank you to Emily's Mini Farm for such a professional, educational and enjoyable experience. We are so grateful for the care you took in helping our children learn and connect with the animals.

We would also like to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible preschool staff for arranging this wonderful event and for their unwavering dedication, care and support throughout the academic year. Your commitment to helping every child learn, grow and thrive is truly appreciated, and today was a perfect reflection of the memorable experiences you create for our children.

✨ Celebrating the Heart of Our Nursery ✨

On Saturday afternoon, we took the opportunity to celebrate something incredibly important — our amazing team 💫

As a small token of appreciation for all of the hard work, dedication, care, and passion shown every single day in our nursery, we hosted a special Staff Awards Afternoon. Every member of staff received personalised certificates and coffee cups, with additional trophies and treats awarded for outstanding achievements throughout the year 🏆☕🍫

After the awards, the celebrations continued with a well-deserved evening out in town filled with laughter, team spirit, and plenty of memorable moments 🎉

At the heart of our nursery is a strong, supportive team, and we truly value the importance of staff wellbeing, recognition, and team building. When our staff feel appreciated and supported, it creates the very best environment for the children and families we care for every day ❤️

✨🍽️ Preschool Trip to The Fat Olive 🍽️✨

Last Friday our preschool children enjoyed a lovely trip to The Fat Olive 🫒💚

The children were amazing and showed beautiful table manners and etiquette throughout the visit 👏 They thoroughly enjoyed their yummy food selections — with lots of empty plates by the end! 🍟🌭🍦 We were so proud of how polite, confident and respectful they were ⭐

This experience links to the EYFS area *Understanding the World* 🌍, helping children learn more about their local community and social experiences through real-life opportunities 🧡
