All the children had a lovely morning hoppy around the field and joining in with all the wonderful activities for the Bolton Hospice Bunny Hop 🐰🐰.

We had an amazing time at our Easter Bonnet parade! 🐣🌸

There were so many fantastic entries - it was incredibly hard to choose our winners! All the staff had the chance to vote, and ever bonnet was so creative and special.

A huge well done to our winners 👏and to everyone that took part. We finished off with an Easter party with lots of dancing 🕺💃

This afternoon Preppies went for a walk to the farm. The children were very excited to see the tractor, horses and cows. This encourages language development as they talk about what they see 🚜🐄🐴

🐰🐰On Wednesday 22nd April we will be taking part in a bunny hop and raising money for Bolton Hospice 🐰🐰
Each child who takes part will receive some bunny ears and a sponsor form.
Any child who doesn’t attend on a Wednesday are more than welcome to come and join us hopping around the field🐰🐰

This morning there has been lots of creativity going on in the nursery.

School have been making pizza 🍕, taking turns at mixing the ingredients and watching the consistency change, whilst developing their maths skills by weighing out ingredients ➕⚖️

Preppies have started science week off with some rainbow experiments 🌈. The children enjoyed watching the colours appear and talking about what was happening 🧪🧑‍🔬

📚✨WORLD BOOK DAY✨📚

A lovely start to our World Book Day celebrations this morning! The children arrived in their fantastic costumes, it was wonderful to see so many of their favourite book characters come through the door 🦸🦹‍♀️🫅🐻🐛

Everyone was so excited to show their friends and teachers their outfits. We have spent the morning talking about the characters they had come dressed as and read some of the stories they love. It’s been a great way to begin adapt full of books, imagination and storytelling 📖💫
