We are now so close to concert day, only one more rehearsal left! There is still work to do, so we're reaching out again to ask for your support. Could you please get the children to practise the song "Walk me home" by Pink. We've worked hard on our repertoire but spent very little time with this one. We would really appreciate as much help as you can.
We had some fabulous sounding soloists today, they all did incredibly well and our chorister of the week medal was awarded to Teniola for her smooth delivery of her solo. Well done Teni πŸ‘ 🎢🌟 It's at times like this I wish we could award more medals as all our soloists sang beautifully 😍
Football season is upon us, so please enjoy cheering the team on and hopefully celebrating some wins πŸ† have footytastic weekend πŸ˜€

This afternoon we have practised almost all of the songs in our repertoire, 3 of them were with no on-screen lyrics and to the backing tracks! There is definite progress happening right now and we are almost concert ready πŸ˜ƒ
With only 2 more rehearsals to go, there is still room for improvement but we've already had goosebumps from hearing these amazing children sing.
Our choristers of the week have earned their medals for two very different reasons today. Our first chorister medal went to Suzie-Mae for her quiet consistent perfection that she shows us every week and our second medal was awarded to Dennis for his dedicated focus. In spite of distractions, he has kept his focus on the singing and shown us what he truly loves about choir... the singing! A massive well done to both of you today πŸŒŸπŸ‘ŒπŸŽΆπŸ˜
Remember to get your tickets for our concert on Friday 26th June in our school hall. We are really looking forward to showcasing what we have worked so hard on this year 😊
Have a super weekend everyone.

Today we have focused on singing to our backing tracks and practising our split parts. There has been a lot of energy, despite us all being sapped by the beautiful weather. The children are making progress every week.
We were unable to award our chorister of the week medals as they had not been returned. Please could you ensure these are returned each week so that we can celebrate at recognise the achievements of our little superstars.
With great weather on the horizon, we wish you all a relaxing week, stay hydrated and enjoy a well earned rest.

We are really pleased with the progress that is being made each week in choir. The children have come on so much these last few weeks and thanks to your fantastic support with our Michael Jackson medley, it sounded 100 times better in rehearsal today!
We have much more still to do and it's exciting to see our Nightingales sinking their teeth into this repertoire. Our chorister of the week medal was awarded to Eleanor W for quite simply singing her heart out today and enjoying every minute πŸ˜€ 🎢🩷 well done Eleanor.
Whilst the weather may be hit and miss this weekend, one thing will always be a certainty... and that is our absolute deepest pride in these amazing children and the unwavering support from our choir families. Thank you all so much. 😍 Have a great weekend.

Today we have practised a few of our songs and it's lovely to see the confidence blossoming and that certainly reflects in the sound.
Our choristers are working very hard but there is much to learn. Could we please ask that you assist us by supporting the children to listen to the first parts of 4 Michael Jackson songs - Thriller, Beat it, Smooth Criminal and Bad. We have created a medley that our choristers are struggling with, and a little bit of help would make all the difference. πŸ™
Our choristers of the week are Isla H and Alice M, who have earned their medals for their wonderful attitudes and phenomenal effort in rehearsal today. Amazing work girls πŸ€©πŸŽΆπŸ™Œ
Have a great weekend πŸ˜€

This week in choir we have looked at our final song in the repertoire. Our choristers clearly have their favourites and we are meeting the difficult materials head-on.
We love listening to our nightingales, but it gets just that bit richer when we catch a little flair and dare we say it, a little sass πŸ˜‰ which is why our choristers of the week, Grace and Phoebe have earned the medals today. A great performance from our two divas πŸ€©πŸ™ŒπŸŽΆ amazing attitude girls πŸ˜€
Enjoy your bank holiday weekend everyone.

We are feeling very accomplished after our rehearsal this afternoon. We have learned a beautiful harmony part to one of our songs, and it sounded truly lovely 😍
Our choristers have been so enthusiastic this half term, and it really shows in the quality of their stunning voices. Today's choristers of the week medals were awarded for this exact reason. What a pleasure it is to congratulate both Fe-Fe and Annabelle on their performances throughout our rehearsal. Well done to both of you πŸ‘ πŸ…πŸŽΆπŸ€©
We will not have a rehearsal now until after the Easter holidays. Enjoy a lovely rest and take a little "me-time" πŸ₯°
See you all on April 24th.

Today, we have looked at 2 more songs from our repertoire. We are making good progress with our concert materials up to now, and we are sounding quite lovely!
Today, it was the boys who stood out with their enthusiasm. We only had one medal to give out, and today, it went to George for putting his heart and soul into his voice and presence πŸŽΆπŸ‘πŸ… well done, George 😁
Have a lovely weekend, everyone.

Incredible! That's the only word to describe how these spectacular children sound 😍 day 2 of our brand new repertoire, and I actually had goosebumps 😲
So far, we have looked at 4 songs, and the children have embraced them readily. From the moment rehearsal began, right to the last song, our two choristers of the week were fully invested with maximum enthusiasm. A massive well done to both Ada Y2 and Alice Y4 πŸ‘πŸŽΆπŸŽ€
Wishing all our mums, stepmums, and those who lovingly accept the role of mum, a wonderful Mother's Day.

Today, we have taken our first peek at our Summer Concert repertoire. Our new Y2 choristers are settling in very nicely and have joined in eagerly with our first few songs. We will rehearse and add to these songs over the coming weeks, ready to perform for you in our in-house concert, in school on Friday 26th June 2026. This will be a ticketed event. Tickets will be available closer to the time.
Have a great weekend.
