🐇🍂 The autumn hares and foxes are back…

My little handmade ceramic hares and foxes are one of the most special parts of Victoria Jane Ceramics. Each one is individually hand-cut, textured and decorated with botanical details inspired by the changing seasons.

I first made these little woodland hares several years ago, and they were even featured in Country Living — which led to me making rather a lot of them! 🤎

This time, they’re back in a small autumn collection, each one a little different from the next.

Each one is individually made and decorated by hand, with soft autumnal colours, botanical details and that lovely handmade texture I love.

Perfect for loading up with cheeses, crackers, fruit, olives and all those little bits that make a grazing board feel special — or simply as a beautiful serving piece for everyday use.

🍂 THE AUTUMN EQUINOX COLLECTION IS HERE 🍂

Today marks the Autumn Equinox — the turning point from summer into autumn.

To celebrate, I’ve reopened my Etsy shop with the first pieces from my new seasonal collection.

🐇 Four handmade woodland hares
🦊 Two handmade foxes

Each one has been individually made and decorated in my Lancashire studio, using botanical impressions and colours inspired by the changing landscape around me.

No two are quite the same.

This is just the beginning. I’ll be adding more autumn pieces over the coming weeks — including impression vases, grazing platters and other seasonal pottery.

🍂 Something new is beginning…

Tomorrow marks the Autumn Equinox — and I’m reopening my Etsy shop to celebrate.

After a very quiet spell, I’ve been slowly rebuilding Victoria Jane Ceramics in the studio, making pieces inspired by the changing seasons, the natural world and the things I find around me.

I’m beginning with a small collection of handmade woodland hares and foxes, each individually decorated with autumn leaves, berries and botanical textures.

These first pieces will be available tomorrow, with more autumn-inspired pottery being added over the coming weeks.

Finally got round to replacing a full set of elements in my kiln. My hands are cut, my arms are scrapped, my eyesight is sh*t and my back is aching BUT tomorrow I’ll find out if I’ve done a good job when the sparky wires it in 😬
