☀️ Summer holiday activities and fun at our local Family Hub….

☕👶Today was our last Tea & Tots session of the school year and we said goodbye to some of our regular children who will be starting school in September.
☕👶Tea & Tots will be back on Wednesday 9th September at 9.15am, welcoming our regular families and new babies & children.

⛪️What a special morning our buddies had yesterday! Reception attended their first mass at church accompanied by their Y6 buddy who attended their last weekday mass as a pupil of St. Jude’s.

To round off a very hot Friday during the recent heatwave, our Reception children enjoyed a well-deserved water fight to cool off!

There were squeals of laughter, lots of smiles and plenty of splashing as the children chased each other with water and enjoyed playing together in the sunshine. It was the perfect way to cool down after a busy week of learning and created some wonderful memories to end the week.

We think it’s safe to say everyone went home happy… and just a little bit soggy! 💙💦

🏓⚽️Congratulations to Cooper in Y5 who won our Sports Day hamper. We hope you enjoy having fun in the sun playing with all the sports equipment.
🎟️The raffle raised over £100 towards school funds. Thank you to everyone who took part.

🛟🏊The RNLI visited school last week to teach classes Y1 & Y2 and Y5 & Y6 about the importance of staying safe around water. We learned about identifying risks of playing in and around water, how to save someone who is in trouble in water and different risks at the beach, as well as the meaning of the RNLI flags at the beach.

Today, a farm visited school. Our younger children enjoyed holding the rabbit, stroking the animals, walking the sheep and feeding the calf.
