Today I had the great privilege of working with these two extremely talented artists, James and Rebecca from Casa Canto…..
We recorded a song, “SEE ME SPEAK - HEAR MY VOICE,” that I have written, for the Charity “LITTLE DROPS,” to be offered as a free gift to anyone donating to their JUST GIVING page, in the next week or so…(I’ll post when it goes live……..)
WHATS THE CHARITY ABOUT?…..Imagine being a deaf child in a society where you can be shunned and appallingly abused in the worst possible way……because you are unable to tell anyone…..it’s almost too horrible to contemplate….😪😪
All monies from donations go to the charity and James, Rebecca and I have not and will not receive, any monies from this project…….The man responsible for this fine work, is Dr Vijay Pothula; senior ENT surgeon/specialist at Wigan Infirmary. À great man. A quiet unassuming gentleman, who over 25 years of dedicated service in Wigan, has treated thousands of OUR relatives. Surely we owe HIM something, in return, by donating to help these poor children?

On a much happier note…..this week. Huge CONGRATULATIONS to my dear friend GARY SPEAKMAN recognised in the Wigan Borough Business Awards, for his OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION to the town and people of Wigan. The list of Wigan businesses and institutions he has had a major role in, is almost endless; here are just a few….Wigan Youth Zone. The Deanery High School, Wigan Heritage and Arts Trust, Highfield Cricket Club, Shearings, Ainscough’s etc etc etc …..If anyone truly deserves the title MR WIGAN……this man is it!!!……Well done mate, you deserve it!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤️

I’d never heard this before, but at the end of the funeral, they showed a video of ROB singing and playing this song himself…….There weren’t enough tissues in the World at that moment…….!!!😪😪…Listen enjoy, and cherish the ones you love……because it’s over in a flash!!

Well…I can honestly say that yesterday, I had the honour….no…PRIVILEGE…. of attending the most beautiful funeral, of my dear DEAR FRIEND…..Rob Craner in the village of Wombourne, outside Wolverhampton ….How his sons, sisters,nieces, friends and colleagues, got through their speeches, songs and instrumentations with absolute professionalism in the midst of their tragic loss….I’ll never know……😪😪😪Other than knowing…if Rob had been there to direct them……they’d have had no choice…..He was a musical and performance PERFECTIONIST……The love shown by the hundreds and hundreds who attended the beautiful village church; filling it to capacity inside as well as out , was a testament to how special this man was….
“Rob I shall miss you more than I can say, and much more than I feel I have a right to…..YOU MY FRIEND WERE THE REAL DEAL!!!😪😪😪❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
