Keeping cool at Forest School ♥️🌳💚

We have had a busy week😅 which included lots of fun, persisting with climbing activities when challenges occurred, using tools, learning about working hands and helping hands, using letter stamps to print our names, problem solving, exploring, counting, filling and emptying and helping our younger children💚🌳♥️

Our children are so excited about creating their own allotment! We are looking forward to digging, planting, watering and weeding 🌱and finding out all about how to grow and look after plants🥕🫛🥬

Easter fun at Greenslate Farm 💚🌳♥️

Last week we created an Easter collage and made chocolate nests. We observed and talked about the changes we saw when the chocolate was heated. We also painted sunflowers and were excited to talk about Easter!🐣🐰

It's been a busy week at Forest School! Wildlife Week, Science Week, St Patricks Day and Eid al-Fitr. We enjoyed mini beast hunts, bird watching and feeding the birds. We enjoyed science experiments and learning about the digestive system. We tasted potato cakes and enjoyed finding out fun facts about St Patrick. We've made lanterns and celebrated Eid. We enjoyed listening to the story and finding out about Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr💚🌳
