We have had a bumper harvest at Forest School 🥒💚🧅🍅🌳 Well done to our children for nurturing their fruit and vegetables from seedlings. We can confirm it all tastes great😋

Courgettes, onions, celery, tomatoes and strawberries! The children are doing a fantastic job of taking care of their fruit and vegetables. Everything is growing beautifully! 🍓🧅🍅🥒

What another fantastic Little Sticks festival! It was a pleasure to welcome our children and their families to say goodbye and wish them well as they get ready to start school.

We will miss the children leaving us and hope that they will carry their love of the outdoors with them forever! We encourage them to keep on building dens, splashing in streams, enjoying the warmth of a campfire and to remember that being amongst the trees makes you feel great!

Little Sticks Forest School We are a Forest School with two sites, one set in Aspull, Wigan and the other site at Greenslate Farm, Orrell. We offer children the chance to play and learn in the great outdoors!

We have been embracing the wind and rain, showing resilience in different weather conditions. There has been lots of fun whilst climbing, swinging and exploring. We have also been playing cooperatively with our friends and learning about the different countries taking part in the world cup⚽️🌳♥️

We have had a busy week😅 which included lots of fun, persisting with climbing activities when challenges occurred, using tools, learning about working hands and helping hands, using letter stamps to print our names, problem solving, exploring, counting, filling and emptying and helping our younger children💚🌳♥️
