Step 2 tuition

Wow it’s been over 2 years since I posted on here.. that’s how busy I have been with my regular kiddies. Time flies when you’re having fun 🤓.

I am thrilled to say that now my horses are living the retired life and are less demanding of my time, I will be opening up 2 more slots for 1:1 private tuition on a Tuesday and Wednesday 5-6pm. These slots won’t be available long and will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. I am usually fully booked and have not been able to take on any new children for over 12 months but those that know me will know any free time I have if I’m not with my horses or out with the pup, I am teaching as it’s my passion.

If you are looking for some extra support for 11+ exams/entrance exams now is the time to get in touch. Starting children early for those who are looking into grammar and private schools is imperative. I have children start from as young as Y3/4 to prepare them to get into the school of their choice with many success stories. A tutor is especially important if you are considering one of these schools as verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills are an expectation in these exams and are not exclusively taught in state schools.
As an ex Bolton school girl myself, I know exactly how to prepare for these exams, what is expected and how to utilise the allocated time in the most efficient way.

For any new parents and for those that don’t know me, I am a SEND specialist who leads on generating revenue for 7 private special needs schools in the North/Midlands ensuring young people with additional needs are placed in the right school. I support many parents with appeals and tribunals advising them on their rights following legislation. I have 10 years experience in the education field and specialise in primary education as well as prepare children for entrance exams and 11+ prep.

I am an experienced Primary School Teacher (who is still very much full time in the classroom) 👩🏽‍🏫, specialising in Early Years/KS1 and have taught up in schools and down the country. 🌎

Having said that I have experience in a range of schools and have taught across the national curriculum hitting a range of year groups.
My passion lies with educating the next generation of leaders and instilling a love of learning. I also have experience working with children with specific needs and those that have an EHCP plan.

Being a Primary School Teacher enables you to spin many plates and wear many hats. Having the sole responsibility of teaching the next generation every subject in the national curriculum which ultimately lies on you.
