Between doing that and looking after my 11 month old 👶, I'm of course still tutoring.

And that's a wrap on English GCSE this year. I'll be busy standardising and marking for the next few weeks, but my Y11s finishing means I can focus on my new cohort.

Half term this week.

A perfect time for Year 11s to relax and take time out before their next glut of exams. Or, for some of my students, it's meant we can cram in more revision. Yesterday, I was with Ella, revising the layout and method for English exam 4 of 4.

This is MY paper; I've examined Unit 2 since 2016. 📖 📓

Received this beautiful bouquet last night from a client. I'm delighted they were so pleased with the work I did with their daughter.
This particular student goes to a school where they do English Lit in Year 10; I've worked with her since November ensuring she was primed and prepped.

After 7 sessions in two days and months of prep, English Literature 📖 is over for another year and now, my focus 👓with my tutees will shift to Language.
I'm an examiner for Language, and I have some very slick tricks to help structure each answer, tailored for exactly what the examiners' mark scheme is looking for. 🤔 🎓
