Upgrade you workout, by adding this exercise to your next chest workout to target the upper pectorals.
The incline dumbbell chest press targets the clavicular head of the pectorals, helping to build a fuller, more balanced chest while also engaging the shoulders and triceps for support.
For best ex*****on of this exercise:
- Set your bench to a 30-45° incline
- Lower the dumbbells with control to chest level
- Press back up, keeping tension through the chest rather than locking out aggressively
This is a highly effective movement for the pectorals, promoting muscle growth through a strong stretch at the bottom and controlled contraction at the top.
Keep the dumbbells controlled with a slower eccentric phase (lowering) before driving up through the concentric phase (pressing up).
For optimal hypertrophy results, perform 3-4 sets of 8-12 reps with 60-90 seconds rest.

Maximise your next arm workout by pairing these two cable movements into an antagonist superset that keeps constant tension on both muscle groups while cutting down your overall workout time.
A superset involves performing two exercises back-to-back with no rest between the first and second exercise:
Biceps – Rope hammer curls
Triceps – Rope press-downs
That’s one set.
Antagonist supersets are a time-efficient way to train, pairing opposing muscle groups back-to-back so one group works while the other rests, and thanks to reciprocal inhibition, the resting muscle is often primed to fire just as well (if not better) when performing directly after the first exercise.
For best muscle growth results, perform 3-4 sets with 60-90 seconds rest between each set.
Try it in your next session and see how your arms respond.
