🎂 POLE KITTENS IS 3! 🤎🐾
Three whole years of spins, bruises, breakthroughs, questionable life choices… and a LOT of “just one more go” 😂
From a little burning dream, to the community we have today, I’m ridiculously proud of what Pole Kittens has become. A place to get stronger, make friends, try scary things, fail spectacularly, laugh about it and try again. 🫶🏼
But today I’m also going to allow myself a little moment to say I’m proud of me too. 🤎
Just 10 months after opening the studio, I lost my dad. There was a point where I genuinely considered closing the doors because carrying on with everything while grieving so deeply felt nearly impossible.
But I knew he wouldn’t have wanted that for me.
So we carried on. Even on the days I didn’t particularly feel like it would work. Looking around at what the studio has become now, I’m so grateful.
There have been huge highs, some really difficult lows, unexpected changes and plenty of moments where I’ve had to pick myself up, adapt and keep going. Three years ago I took a chance on something I loved, and through everything that’s happened since, it’s kept growing.
So yes, I’m proud of the business. I’m incredibly proud of this community. But I’m also really bloody proud that I stuck at it. 🥹🤎
And I absolutely couldn’t write this without thanking my amazing instructors. 🫶🏼 (tagged)
Thank you for standing by my side through the highs, the lows and the chaos. For believing in the studio, supporting me and caring about this little community like you do, with the weekly ‘motivational’ group chat texts 😂 Pole Kittens wouldn’t be what it is without the people who walk through the doors to teach every week, and I’m incredibly lucky to have you beside me. 🤎
And to you lot, every class booked, every new student who nervously walks through the door, every cheer when someone nails a move, every friendship made in the studio… you’ve helped make Pole Kittens what it is today.
3 years down. Plenty more to come. 🐾
Happy 3rd Birthday Pole Kittens 🥂🤎
And Dad — I hope you’d be proud of it too. 🤎
