We loved meeting baby Edward today! 🩵😍

Mrs Blanken and baby Edward loved visiting our school staff and children today 😊🥰

We have enjoyed experimenting mixing primary colours to see what colours they make when mixed together! 🎨🖌

This week in mathematics, Reception have been been introduced to the ‘part-part whole model’. The children have enjoyed exploring using the model, using puppets from traditional tales to help understand the concept. The parts are always LESS than the WHOLE! 😊

Reception have been naming different parts of an animal such as: scales, a chicken‘s comb, whiskers, paws and wings! We discussed the purpose of the body parts.🦆 🐓 🐕 🐠

Reception have enjoyed exploring body parts, using more specific vocabulary. We have enjoyed using real life X-rays to help us name bones in our body! 🦴 🩻

Our nursery children have been observing changes in their learning environment.
