Name a better time for some ice-cream and beach themed activities! ☀️ The ice-cream is a mixture of shaving foam, paint for the sprinkles and egg box cut outs for the cones. The beach is a mixture of coloured sand for the sea, paint for the sun, cornflakes for the sand, and some additional paint for the foamy waves. These activities are really simple and easy to recreate at home for some fun heatwave ideas!

Art and creativity opens so many opportunities and paths for a child's future, inspiring thinking outside the box and resourcefulness. By using natural resources, we encourage children to build this creativity, perhaps by using pasta as a paintbrush, a stick for a magic wand, or even a sensory scarf as a fancy hat.

We enjoy seeing the children be enthusiastic, and take interest in their own ideas!

Looking after our planet, two tiny hands at a time! 🌍

We like to encourage everyone to take care of our plants at the nursery, and often using our watering cans is the best way! It helps develop those real life skills, such as pouring, but also the physical skills to pick up the heavy watering can and aim it in the right direction. Not only that, it's also great fun!

We've been making the most of the brilliant sunshine here at KLN Wickham, by visiting our allotment and going on plenty of walks. We've really been enjoying spending time in our gardens, bringing out the water tray and exploring textures like ice.
