Yoga in the park 🌲

Summer is here and what better way to enjoy it than some yoga in the park 🧘🏼‍♀️

Our classes help to raise funds for our Community classes and programmes.

Classes can be booked online and cost £5 donation, unless otherwise stated.

Classes for both adults and children - often running alongside each other so the whole family can be involved

We have sessions in Southend, Rayleigh, Shoeburyness and Leigh-on-Sea

Today we explored the power of our breath with games of blow ball 🌬️

This activity can help children increase their lung capacity, connect to their bodies, be aware of their breath and have fun at the same time.

Stress can be naturally reduced and healthy hormones released.

Grab a straw and a ping pong ball/cotton ball and have a try.

You can even use old shoeboxes as ‘goals’ 🥅

Push sticks is a game we play to help improve focus, communication, team work and coordination whilst having fun 🤩

The little yogis created all sorts of games and poses together and laughed A LOT ☺️

Getting creative with balancing birds 🦅

Anyone else remember these when we were little?

I introduced them into my sessions years ago and they literally never leave my bag.

Every kid seems to love them and helps them stay in the poses for longer 🙌🏼
