Singing & action is such a fun way to introduce a new language and build confidence 💛

A mysterious wizard set the children in Nursery Class a special challenge… to figure out which letter was missing!

With lots of thinking, and a sprinkle of magic, the children each worked it out all by themselves 👏

To reveal the answer, they used their very best magic spell… “Abracadabra!” 💫

It was a wonderful way to build early literacy skills while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning through play 💛

The children in our Red Room love their mealtimes at nursery 😋🍽️

Mealtimes are a special part of the day where children can explore new tastes and textures while sitting together with their friends in a friendly social environment 🧒👧

These everyday moments are also full of learning. As children practise using cutlery and feeding themselves, they are developing important fine motor skills, building independence and growing in confidence ✨

It’s not just about enjoying yummy food. It’s a valuable learning experience too! 🥕🍎

It's National Plant a Flower Day 💐🌷🌸

Today, the children enjoyed planting their very own flowers indoors, getting hands on with soil, seeds, and pots. 🌱

Gardening activities in the early years support so many areas of development! It helps little ones build fine motor skills, patience, and confidence, while encouraging curiosity about nature and how things grow 🧐🥰

It’s also a lovely way to spark conversations about caring for living things and watching them grow over time! 🌼

The sunshine is finally making an appearance, which means more time for outdoor learning and adventures 🌳☀️

Being outside gives children the freedom to explore, get curious and learn through play. From digging, building and discovering nature, to developing confidence, coordination and creativity, the outdoors offers endless opportunities for little learners to grow.

Outdoor learning is such an important (and fun!) part of nursery life 💚🌿
