The results indicate continued progress across several key areas, with improvements in overall attainment as well as outcomes in English and Science. "These results reflect the hard work, resilience and ambition of our young people, alongside the unwavering support of our staff, parents and carers. We are incredibly proud of everything this year group has accomplished and look forward to seeing them thrive in the next stage of their education and beyond. Following the school's excellent Key Stage 5 outcomes last week, we hope to see many of our Year 11 students continue their journey with us into Years 12 and 13."

The Bromfords School Celebrates Best-Ever Sixth Form Results in Historic Final Year

Students and staff at The Bromfords School are celebrating a truly historic achievement after securing the strongest A Level and vocational results in the school's history, marking a fourth consecutive year of improvement. The outstanding outcomes provide a fitting conclusion as the school prepares to join the Harris Federation next month. This year's cohort will be the final group of students to complete their post-16 education under The Bromfords School name, making their success all the more significant.

Jochen Tree, Headteacher of The Bromfords School, said:

"We are immensely proud of our students and everything they have achieved. To secure our highest-ever results in this final year as The Bromfords School is a remarkable accomplishment and reflects the ambition, determination and resilience shown by our young people throughout their studies. These results are also a testament to the dedication of our staff, who work tirelessly to support, challenge and inspire students every day. I would like to thank every member of our school community, including parents and carers, whose encouragement and support have helped our students reach this important milestone."

The results highlight the success of both academic and vocational pathways, with students achieving excellent outcomes across a wide range of qualifications and progressing to exciting destinations beyond sixth form. Students will now move on to leading universities, higher and degree apprenticeships, employment opportunities and specialist training programmes, taking the next steps towards fulfilling their ambitions and career aspirations.

Mr Tree added:

"Today's results bring to a close an important chapter in the proud history of The Bromfords School. Above all, however, they are a celebration of our students and the hard work they have invested in achieving their goals. As they embark on the next stage of their journeys, we wish them every success and happiness. Whether they are progressing to university, beginning an apprenticeship or entering the world of work, we know they have the skills, character and determination to thrive. We look forward to following their future successes with great pride."

This term, our Year 12 students traded their standard classroom setup for the high-stakes environment of a courtroom. To deepen their understanding of the justice system, students participated in a fully immersive Mock Trial, taking on the roles of barristers, witnesses, jurors, and court officials.

By stepping into these roles, students gained a hands-on grasp of complex legal concepts like court hierarchy, the burden of proof, and formal courtroom etiquette.

The high-stakes environment pushed them to develop vital, real-world skills—including public speaking, critical thinking, and collaborative teamwork—as they worked together to build their cases. Ultimately, the realistic courtroom atmosphere sparked a fantastic energy in the room, with students thoroughly enjoying the challenge of testing their arguments and bringing their legal studies to life.
