Good morning,

Only two days to go until the largest cycling event in history second-only to the Tour de France. Make sure to join us on our Bike Train on Friday morning. We have two spaces on our Trishaw. A trishaw is a three-wheeled cycle featuring two front passenger seats designed to carry people who cannot ride independently.

We are very grateful for everyone attending our open afternoon yesterday.

We would be grateful to receive your views on what's working well and what we can do better by completing the short form:

Thank you in advance.

Good morning.

We have arrived at the final week of term.

Caithness Rugby FC recorded a fine victory on Saturday as they recorded their first ever away win in Ellon. Our micro and mini rugby players also took part in a festival in Invergordon.

We look forward to welcoming our families to our open afternoon tomorrow followed by Parent/ Carer appointments on Wednesday. Our end of term assembly takes place on Friday at 9:45am. We would be delighted to see our friends and families there but before that...
.. our last Bike Train of the year takes place on Friday and we're looking to make this the biggest one yet! We leave Staxigoe at 8:30am and make our away along the route shown. We are aiming to record 180 participants. Bring a friend or family member who has not taken part before. We will be serving breakfast rolls to everyone who takes part. You don't have to cycle the whole way. You can meet us on Girnigoe Street and join in from there.

On Friday, our Crossing Patroller Gordon Mackenzie retires from duties. We would like to wish Gordon all the very best in his retirement.

As we enter the final stages of preparations for our contact with Joshua Kutryk aboard the International Space Station ,our young questioners came along to a meeting tonight to pick up their practice cue cards and get ready for the big day on Tuesday. The ARISS - Amateur Radio on the International Space Station will be making the long journey to Wick in the next few days to get us ready and ironically it takes longer to get to Wick than it does to reach the ISS!

Remember boys and girls, be:
✅ confident
✅ clear
✅ loud
✅ and most of all, say OVER 😁

72 on our Bike Train today.

Pupils who used to use balance bikes are now pedalling at the front with a smile on their face.

Great to welcome new riders.

Listening to the craic and conversations
of the pupils on their ride in is wholesome.

We have completed six consecutive cycles this term and we’re looking to complete the run. Forecast looks favourable for next Friday with the following Friday being the final Bike Train of 2026.

On Friday 9th October 2026, to make it the biggest Bike Train ever, we’re asking that you bring a friend or family member who hasn’t taken part before. There will be breakfast rolls for everyone who takes part wearing a high vis and helmet.

Our record is 160. Can you help us make 200?

PS. That’s a lot breakfast rolls.
