• Zumbini restarts this Friday, all texts have been sent to those attending. I appreciate your patience as I take a gradual approach back, I’m still in the PP trenches and have had a very rough year. Time with my boys is my priority as well as my own needs 🥰

• Early Years Awards: Unfortunately I didn’t make it down as Ryan had other plans… the journey was an experience 🤯 I am pretty gutted to not have the chance to celebrate my work but hey, mum life! The award won’t be coming home, I was up against 3 nurseries and 1 nationwide organisation but to be 1/35 finalists and 1/2 from the entire Highlands region is something I’m incredibly proud of. Big congratulations to the winners; Ivy in The Park.

• Monthly ASN sessions: I will be setting up a monthly session for ASN families aged 0-12 (capped to 8 families per session) on Saturday mornings. Please help me spread the word as I’m hoping to have these start from September!!

• Wriggly Weekers: I’m sure a lot of you know how life has been for my family this year, and I just do not have the capacity to add more into what I’m currently doing right now. Still be something of it but right now we focus on the present 😅 Our group promises will very much be sticking with Zumbini which have been added to this post to be mindful of 😊 big thanks to all who kindly donated items, donations have been made to Children of Fire in South Africa, PPP and Newton Park EP to give even more children play opportunities 🧸

Once again, thanks for all of your continued support and excitement as I slowly return to work. And for allowing me to keep our safe and respectful community of families going strong! ❤️

Not long now until I’ll be running the Caithness Half Marathon. I’m fundraising for every single educational setting in Caithness, 38 in total, and would love your support in providing more accessible resources to all the kids aged 2-18 within our county. Look what arrived in the post today!! 📮

Perfect timing in celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, Zumbini with Jade is now recognised in being apart of the Breastfeeding Friendly Scheme here in Scotland.

We welcome all families to our sessions and everyone will always be met with kindness and a safe space to feed and be present with their babies.

If you require a more private and quiet area outwith of the class, we can discuss this before you come along and I will provide an area to meet your needs that is easily accessible 🤍 if you require this in general whether you feed via breast/bottle/pump, I am more than happy to accommodate.

I’m a breastfeeding mama and there is a high possibility that during our sessions, I’ll be feeding! So some of you may be lucky enough for a wee nip slip happening… we’re all human!!! 🥰🤣

✨ Laura at Flaurals - a girl I have known since school! We played rugby together and it’s been wonderful to watch her spread joy across the county with her passion for floristry. Her honesty box is in Halkirk with things kept inclusive, from beginners to experts.
✨ Andrew and the team at John O' Groats Development Trust - they’ve done a great job of bringing opportunities to both locals and tourists… most recently playing a part in the huge fundraiser for the new park!
✨ Iain, Aidan and Craig at Tall Tales - two of these lads are from my rugby days too, and Sabrina brings the main character vibes. They’ve transformed a former bookshop into the coolest coffee shop in the county. Best marketing skills too.
✨ AJ at Seaview Sauna - the chillest girl who brings relaxation and wellbeing to a unique spot. Honestly, nothing is ever too much for her and you’re always treated with kindness.

How wonderful to have local trusts and small businesses come together to support me in empowering our local children within their education 🤩

What a great success our Zumbini trials were… a huge thank you to everybody who came along and my biggest boy Rory for all his help today - Ryan loved his first run of classes! ❤️ (Can you see this post? Give it a like! Your engagement is key to my posts being visible 👍)

We worked on proprioception allowing us to know where our limbs are without using vision 🦵, body awareness and what each part does through huuuuge sensory promotion 👂👀👏🏼 and rhythm/beat work with our hands & feet on the drums 🥁

Plus so many smiles, adults and children! 🤩

I am super excited to announce that I am an Early Years Scotland FINALIST 🤩

This is such an incredible achievement for me, and I’m so proud to have national recognition for something I’m truly passionate about and pour my heart into every day 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thank you to everyone who has chosen Zumbini over the past 3 years — your trust in me to play a part in your child’s lifelong learning means everything.

A simple song with powerful development even at 15 weeks old 💛 I cannot sing but I want to show you that doesn’t matter - it’s all about having a bond. Your voice is their safety regardless.

The video is an example of coordination, body awareness and early language all whilst keeping it playful and connecting with our little ones… my key focus in Zumbini.

So here it is! My fundraiser!

I want to support ALL our local schools and nurseries here in Caithness so they can continue to support their pupils and have additional support resources available or something chosen by the school that they feel is of the best benefit 😀
