Zumbini with Jade

First block of Zumbini for 2026… over and out! 🎈

We had our teddies along today whilst marching to the Grand Old Duke of York 🧸 with some great body awareness as our teddies performed their gross motor actions to some songs!!

The lights were off, curtains closed and the glowy vibes ON 🌟 which creates a totally amazing atmosphere - the confidence levels were HIGHHHER than ever which we love to see 🚀

Jade popped the toy box out and the kids got straight to tidying up without even saying a peep… highlighting that the routine of our classes and repetition truly supports early years transitions.

Have a great October holidays! 🎃

Parachute fun!!! 🪂🌈 as we worked on our gross motor skills with lots of full body movement to sounds of Indian folk music 🇮🇳 which focusses on energetic fast-paced moves!

Moving onto some direction sequencing ⬆️⬇️⬅️➡️ and symbolic play as we sung about the sound a clock makes 🕰️ plus soooo much more fun learning opportunities - check out all those happy faces ❤️

A visit to PEEP at the start of this week then we had the return of our ASN sessions - I’ve not seen a lot of these kiddos since December last year, and they didn’t forget the Zumbini routine at all!!!

Two more weeks left of what has been an amazing return to Zumbini with Jade 🥰

Anybody fancy a Zumbini outing? 🤪

A newly delivered Caithness church minibus is not just for transporting worshippers to Sunday services – it is “something for the wider community”.
The Ford vehicle, which can seat 16 passengers, was acquired by East Caithness Church of Scotland at a cost of £66,000 and is available for hire by local clubs and community groups.

Thank you everybody, I think somebody from each school has seen this post so hopefully this can get the ball rolling 😊

‼️🚨 CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME CONTACT THESE SCHOOLS? ‼️🚨

I have reached out via email on a number of occasions, between having two young children it’s difficult to rally round the schools & phone them individually.

If you are or know of any staff members, please email the bank details for your setting to [email protected]

I have £100 from my ASN resources fundraiser waiting to be transferred to the following schools and would really like to get this over to them ASAP:

- THURSO HIGH SCHOOL
- MOUNT PLEASANT

How on earth are we half way through the block already!?! 😲

We jumped across to Spain 🇪🇸 where we focussed on trajectory (the path something takes when moving) and pretended to be a bouncing ball 🔴 then balanced like an elephant 🐘, counting to 4 through a Spanish rhyme.

By using imaginative movement, the children’s creativity is enhanced by expressing themselves THEIR way 🥰 (+ much more).

We listened to Estrellita dónde estás ✨⭐️ which confused the children in every possible way… they knew exactly what song was playing and sat in a total daze as we heard Twinkle Twinkle being sung in Spanish! 🎶

See y’all at class… Christmas announcement Friday 8pm 😉🎅🏼🎄
