NURSERY GARDEN GLOW UP

We are so proud to show off the amazing transformation of our garden here at Newton Park Nursery 🌿🌸

Over the past weeks, our staff team have worked incredibly hard to create a beautiful outdoor space for our children to learn, play, explore and grow in. From water play to dinosaurs, mud kitchens to cars, so much time and effort has gone into every little detail — and we couldn’t be more grateful for the dedication of our team 💚

A huge THANK YOU also goes to the wonderful local businesses and supporters who kindly donated materials to help make this possible, Adam Scott, Stuart (Lidls), Adam Bremner, Lee and Kevin (Tescos), Davie Smith. Your generosity means so much to us and to all of the children who will enjoy this space every day. We are extremely grateful ✨

It is currently still a working progress and we have lots more ideas to transform the space even further however we are always open to any ideas anyone may have so please feel free to get in touch if so 😊

Our coaches at Thurso East Football Academy are gearing up for another action-packed day tomorrow! 💪

We’ll be delivering exciting after-school football sessions at Newton Park Primary, helping young players develop their skills, build confidence, and most importantly—have fun! 🙌⚽

We can’t wait to get back out there and continue supporting the next generation of footballers! 🌟

Open to all P4–P7 pupils from all ASG Schools – no experience needed, just bring your energy and a smile 😄

No need to bring all the kit.... Come Run, wrestle and roll in your school clothes and chuck on your old shoes or boots!

Our Rights Respecting Schools Group have something to tell you….

On Wednesday 28th January we had our Gold Rights Respecting School Accreditation visit. We have since been waiting for the feedback report but can now officially share that we are a:

⭐️GOLD RIGHTS RESPECTING SCHOOL! ⭐️

We are delighted to finally be able to share this news with you all! In the video here our RRS group are sharing some of the highlights from the report. It has been lovely to read and to have all our hard work recognised.

We are so proud of our pupils, staff and community for all the support and efforts to help us achieve Gold status.

Today we shared the news with a whole school assembly and lots of gold confetti! The RRS group are now preparing for a proper Gold party celebration - more details and more gold confetti to follow after the holidays!

Nursery enrolment week: week beginning Monday 9th February

Nursery enrolment week takes place for all nurseries next week. Please do not enrol before this as this will not be valid.

Please be aware that spaces are very limited. If you wish to enrol in our nursery and are not in our catchment area then we advise that you also enrol in your catchment nursery.
