Ofsted registered childminder. I am able to offer the early years funded hours which are completely flexible during my opening hours.

I'm Amy and I will of been married to my husband Scott (also my registered assistant) for 16 years and we have 3 fantastic children, 2 boys aged 23 and 16 and a little girl aged 13 years. I have lived in Whittlesey all my life. As well as being a registered child minder with Ofsted up until April 2013 I was also a dispenser in a local pharmacy. Which I did for over 9 years. I have been a registered child minder for over 11 years now but I have been a mum for over 23 years within that time I have overcome many hurdles from on-going speech difficulties to every day issues. I am registered with pacey (formerly NCMA) and am First Aid trained. In addition I am also level 3 trained in childcare. I offer a wide range of activities for minded children and regularly attend and assist in running local toddler groups. I aim to offer a home-from-home environment where children feel happy and relaxed. References are available on request. I offer flexible childcare and I am prepared to work around most shift patterns. Should your child need before and after school care and they attend Alderman Jacobs Primary school/preschool in Whittlesey then please give me a call. My current hourly rate is £3.80 per hour. Food can be provided at an additional charge upon request.

This week the children planted some seeds in the garden that over the next few weeks the children will need to attend to ensure they grow. 🌸🌷🌺

Children love to get mucky in the garden and explore the nature around them. Getting out and about in the garden is a really fun way of helping the children learn more about the world around them. Growing and tending to plants and flowers or even just examining leaves and soil helps the children one start to understand life cycles and where food comes from. 🌼🪻🌻

🌼 St. David’s Day 2023 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
People in Wales celebrate the patron saint, St David, on March 1 every year. Many people pin a daffodil or leek - Wales's national emblems - to their clothes and some, especially children, wear traditional costumes.
The day is a celebration of both St David's life and Welsh culture.

A small acts of kindness can make us all feel uplifted and doing something good for others can have a big impact on someone’s life.
Whether it’s paying for someone’s coffee or holding the door for someone, even the simplest of actions can help us spread kindness and positivity, as well as influence others to do the same.

So today the children thought about a random act of kindness they could do to make someone smile today 😃

They decided they wanted to go to the shop to choose some little treats. Then after attaching a little note we went for a little walk and the children left them on people's doorsteps as a little surprise 💐 💕 🍫
